To give or to take? THAT is the question!

In a romantic relationship, do you believe that there will always be one person that loves and gives more? And if so, which person would you rather be in the relationship, the one who gives or takes?

I think everyone would like to be in a relationship with someone who gives rather than takes. I think in a relationship you should be striving to "out-give" your partner. I'm assuming we're not just talking about giving physical things. Being there for someone is very rewarding. If you love someone then you should give yourself to making them happy, because when they are happy, then you are happy. Thats the way I think it should be.
