(I'm not being sarcastic or trying to be funny) but I mean you can find a girl anywhere like: School, Parties, Clubs etc... dont get your hopes up high for finding someone on here & if you do well then more power to you.

Schools: Not in school
Parties: Very few Armenians
Clubs: Really? find an Armenian girl at a club? No thanks....

It's harder than you people think...especially if you had a relationship with one of your friends and broke up, so now everyone in your "group" of friends, doesn't see you romantically.

I wasn't very serious about finding a girl here.

I don't love dogs...i didn't mean no girls with facial hair...that was a refference to the film "Must Love Dogs"..... I'm not an idiot --- all people have facial hair.

Thai...I hear ya mate.

And I think this is what will eventually happen. But I have this fear that the girl won't like me or something, and that she will just go with the flow just to please her family.....

In the olden days many people got married who didn't particulary like eachother......eventually they dealt with it. <- scary

I rather be alone and happy then with a woman who doesn't love me and inreturn makes me feel like crap.

But I agree, the friend of the family deal is the best way to go, unfortunately I took a job 2 hours away from where my family lives, so now...well it's harder for to meet girls through family u know?

actually most likely that's not the case. I just saw a news piece about arranged marriages in India. Where like 4% of arranged marriages get divorced. Compared to America where like 51% of married couples get divorced so there's probably something to it. If you feel like the girl is going w/ it to please her family, then either you can back off, or just see her for awhile to see if you both are truly compatible.
