Hello friends! I’m sure you must have all heard about the bird flu disease. The husband of one of my best friends is suspected to have caught the bird flu virus. My friend is shattered after she’s heard this news and on top of that she is one month pregnant. Her husband had gone for a business trip in Europe and it is suspected that he got infected over there. But I am worried about my friend. Do you think that the virus can get transferred to her by touching, kissing or sex? If yes then is it going to affect even her child?

the most beneficial thing to do is to ask a doctor or any other medical leader...pharmacist, etc..
we learned about this in biology class and how it was quite rare for it to pass from animal to human, but there were possibilities. although i prefer not to give out further information and be wrong about it later on.
