Nate Diaz, on TAGG Radio, shares his less-than complimentary thoughts regarding Ultimate Fighter VII runner-up Manny Gamburyan...
"I don't like them (Karo Parisyan/Manny Gamburyan). I don't mean nothing bad to anyone else in the sport. Everybody's just trying to make their money and fight their fights and do their thing, just like I am. But those guys? F*ck them. They're xxxxy, they talk sh*t, and they want to act tough. But when they're by themselves, they try to say 'What's up,' you know... I'm like, 'We're not friends, dude.' (Manny) already did everything he was going to do in that first round. I felt better in the second round. I didn't feel like he was doing anything from the top anyway. Pellegrino was doing good from the top. He was trying to pass the guard do his thing. Manny was just trying to sit in the guard the whole time."
Hmm...xxxxy, smack-talking, tough-acting relatives...wait, are we talking about Karo Parisyan and Manny Gamburyan or Nick and Nate Diaz? I understand the bad blood between the families, and as highly unlikely as it is given their present situations, I would still love to see a card with all four fighting each other. Manny, Karo, Nick, and Nate all know how to sell fights inside the cage and outside it as well, as the quartet of them are all known for creating excellent soundbytes to the media. Can you imagine something like the "Ultimate Fighter X" featuring Team Armenia vs. Team Stockton? There would be fights inside the house, inside the training center, and very possibly inside a Vegas sushi bar and/or casino parking lot. Highest...ratings...ever?!?
