*as a good deed, posts a link to an interactive/educational map of Europe, hoping it will broaden a skinhead's horizons, and allow him a better experience of the UEFA European Championships*Originally posted by skhara View PostThe two non-european teams are France and Turkey.
Europe Map—online, interactive map of Europe showing its borders, countries, capitals, seas, rivers and adjoining areas. It connects to information about Europe and the history and geography of European countries. Europe is the western part of the Eurasian land mass, Asia is the larger eastern part.Last edited by Siamanto; 06-02-2008, 09:24 AM.What if I find someone else when looking for you? Re: UEFA European Championships
I was also wondering why you put France next to the so-called land of Turkey as a non-European team? Do you refer to the huge number of ethnicly non-French ( mainly from Africa) players in their team?Originally posted by skhara View PostI shall be rooting for:
1. Team Italy (as I've always rooted for this team since I was a kid)
2. Spain (play a very attractive game and on paper seem to be the best --although alway a disappointment later as they lack a fighting spirit to go along with their talents)
3. Portugal (kind of like Spain)
The two non-european teams are France and Turkey.
And I'm for Italia too!

He probably thought that it was a "bright???" idea, and he was being "intelligent????" because able to "see????" what others can't - i.e. hallucinate????Originally posted by Lucin View PostI was also wondering why you put France next to the so-called land of Turkey as a non-European team?Last edited by Siamanto; 06-02-2008, 11:07 AM.What if I find someone else when looking for you? Re: UEFA European Championships
Yeah -- most of the other teams have players with naturalized citizens or imported from colonies, but the French team is a disgrace. I believe that one of the best things about these competitions is where nations bring their national character and style along. You have the Germans who are tough and resilient -- make up for their lacking of technical skill with a strong work ethic. Dutch -- the machine -- clockwork orange. Italians -- emotional and tempermental -- very strong technically but seem to play according their mood in ups and downs.Originally posted by Lucin View PostDo you refer to the huge number of ethnicly non-French ( mainly from Africa) players in their team?

France used to be associated with a soft touch and a lot of flair. Today, I can't really tell much of a difference between France and Cameroon.
