    Re: UEFA European Championships

Russia is going to drill an extra hole in the Swedish arse

Croats have to watch all the recent Turkish games very carefully, in other words they must do what Czechs have failed to do, namely to study those motherfukers. The Czech coach, that old fart, had many months to learn Turk's game but he didn't do it or he didn't do it properly. There were no suprises in the Turkish style and tactics so, had the Czechs studied them properly then they wouldn't looked like lost idiots at the end of the second half.

Anything is possible . The problem with the Russians, is that they have no idea what to do near the opponents goal. Either way, whoever of them advances will only play one more game anyway.

Russia beat Sweden, 2-0. They played excellent and I think they can beat Netherlands.

It would certainly be the biggest upset of the tournament so far.
For the first time in more than 600 years, Armenia is free and independent, and we are therefore obligated
to place our national interests ahead of our personal gains or aspirations.

Before the Euros began, I mapped out all of the matches and somehow I got Russia to win it all. Though, who expected Greece to win the last Euro? I think Russia is underestimated, and Holland is playing amazing... so I am looking forward to the match.

You can't be serious! Haven't you seen the little rocket with "Arshavin 10" on the back? He is a very talented player and prolific goal scorer. He is superior over many others because he is one of those rare breed of "amphibious" players, meaning he is both a midfielder and a forward and does both jobs superbly. What about Pavlyuchenko? He is one of the most talented youngsters I have ever seen. The kid is a rising super star! Have you seen his two goals at this tournament? What about Zhirkov? He is on the left flank. Very talented and extremely hard working player. The list goes on. ...Can Russia beat the Dutch? I'd say anything is possible. But beating the Dutch won't be as easy as it was smashing the Swedes that's for sure. There is also a possibility of Russians becoming star struck then confused and then badly beaten by very talented Dutch. Let's just wait and see. I say Russia will win!

Germany rises to the occassion and brings Portugal back to reality. Up next, Turkey vs. Croatia with Russia - Netherlands on deck and Spain - Italy in the hole.

Yeah Arshavin is good. Although I mean in general. Russians consistently miss clear goal-scoring opportunities. In the Spain game, we can hardly say that Spain dominated the pitch (Spain did dominate the pitch against Sweden yet scored twice fewer goals) -- the difference was that Spaniards were putting the ball in the net, while Russians hit the posts and shot overhead.

Russia won against Sweden using well drilled diagonal sprints (like wide receivers in American football) -- and they did that repeatedly and the entire match. What was funny was they continued doing it and the Swedes had no answer. Every single time a Russian player took the ball either to the right or the left of the penalty box and crossed on the ground.

Sweden could not keep up with Russia's pace and physical endurance. When it comes to Holland, they also have fantastic speed, youth, and endurance -- they'll play full pitch pressure vs full pitch pressure. Difference is the footballing talent of the Dutch. There will be plenty scoring opportunities this Saturday, Holland will take their chances -- Russia will miss a lot of theirs.

                    I predict: Holland 5-2 Russia.

The officiating in this tournament was utter rubbish, and unfortunately influenced the end result. Michael Ballack's goal was illegitimate and should not have counted.

Watch him push the defender out of the way with both hands. Total BS.
