Re: Armenian Sends 25 of its Best to Beijing Olympics

I really want to see more Armenian female athletes in the next summer olympics too. As Armenia grows more wealthy more money should be invested in sports and training youngsters to represent Armenia at the highest level. Also, I'd like to see Armenia compete in more sports rather than the traditional ones we are known for, or at least dominate in those sports, which we don't at the olympic level. However, I'm optimistic that with time and good coaching we will get there.
For the first time in more than 600 years, Armenia is free and independent, and we are therefore obligated
to place our national interests ahead of our personal gains or aspirations.

The Armenian Olympic Committe Website has been hacked by Azeris. Time for a counter-strike.

And have Armenian hackers got them back? There is not way in hell that azerbaijan has better trained computer technitions than Armenia.

poor ara was going for the bronze but injured his knee, not good i think the reason why davit, yuriks son isnt in the australian side is that his had to have another recon i think thats his 4th and his only like 22 or something

Davit who? And if it Yurik Vartanyan's son you are speaking of, what is his connection with australia? I had heard that Yurik lived in los angeles.
