I was at the Lakers game last night with my family and girlfriend.
I hadn't been to a game since at least 3-4 years. It was one of my most exciting games I have ever seen and even though Lakers lost, it felt great!
We went into 2 OTs, Kobe was fouled out, and Ariza and Wallace were badly injured. I'm not happy with any of these but they're all very rare events. It was so exciting seeing buzzer beater three pointers and going into overtimes. It was so intense, we stood up for both overtimes. We were even on the big screen at the game!
Not to mention, Curb Your Enthusiasm was filming outside the Staples Center! I didn't see any of the actors but they were all there, waiting to begin filming. What an exciting night; although winning would have been the icing on the cake, I think this was the best game I've ever seen!
Well, the only reason we went was because my dad's business associate gave them four free tickets. Initially, my parents were going to go with my sister and her fiance. Their tickets were in Premiere 16, which is right below the VIP section. I managed to find two more tickets in the same section at a great price so my girlfriend and I went as well.
It seats were much better than I thought. I think if I can't find "great" seats from now on, I'll just call this dealer again and pick up these seats. For the price he gave me, they were great. Plus, the seats next to the other four were free so we all sat together.
By the way, I forgot to add other memorable/rare events from the game. There were 2 technical fouls, one on Kobe and another on Bobcats.
