Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

lol at the topic, vic must have been on drugs when he said that

good to see our boys doing well, abraham knocked out jermain taylor in the super six and is looking pretty solid with his defence and rapid punches, vanes convincing win just recently a bloke everyone thinks has a good future but needs to go up a notch with better opponents and our boy vic coming back to form

it was a disappointing fight from vic though, he might have destroyed his opponent but it would have been better to see vic fight the way he did against mijares when he stunned the world and won with a good defense and punching in combinations

vic vs nonita donaire looks like its going to happen early march can't wait

      Edited.

I hope Vic doesn't fool around this time. Any source on the fight? Gary Shaw doesn't want Vic to fight Donaire because apparently Donaire cheated on a contract with Shaw or something like that.

          Sunday Telegraph - Australia

Raging Bull sizes up big Fui

          * By James Hooper
          * From: The Sunday Telegraph

          * January 31, 2010 12:01AM

AS they stood toe-to-toe, it looked like the biggest mismatch since
Gorden Tallis used Ben Ross's head as a speed ball.

Parramatta enforcer Fuifui Moimoi stepped into the ring with world
champion Vic Darchinyan at Eels headquarters last Friday, the Kiwi man
mountain against the Raging Bull Ant.

Moimoi might weigh twice as much as the 56kg super-flyweight, but when
it comes to speed, footwork and ring smarts, the diminutive Darchinyan
is all over the NRL cult figure.

It might have only been a mock sparring session, but there are no
jokes when it comes to finding Darchinyan's next opponent for March 6
          in the US.

Nicknamed the Mexican assassin because of his penchant for knocking
out boxers from south of the Californian border, the WBA and WBC
unified champion has had his past three adversaries pull out of
prospective fights. The reasoning is simple: Darchinyan's left-hand
bombs are so lethal he has rival fighters running scared.

"I'm fighting on March 6 on the Arthur Abraham-Andre Dirrell card, but
up until today nobody has wanted to fight me," Darchinyan said. "It's
been frustrating. They know my power and they don't want to feel it.
My last three opponents have cancelled.

"They say it's because of money, but I think it's because they're
scared. I'm the champion and I don't care who I fight, I'll fight
          anybody."

The son of an Armenian Olympic wrestling coach, Darchinyan finally
landed an opponent last Friday in the form of Mexican Rodrigo
          Guerrero.

To defend his WBA and WBC world title belts, Darchinyan intends to mix
up his training regimen to try to improve his already brutal punching
          power.

Gone are the heavy sessions in the gym bench-pressing 120kg and doing
hundreds of push-ups with his feet elevated on top of one corner of
          the ring.

Instead, the Sydney Olympian has been working with world champion
discuss thrower Dani Samuels to improve the fast-twitch muscle fibres
and explosive power in his legs.

Parramatta Eels conditioning gurus Hayden Knowles and Craig Catterick
are supervising the new lower-body program.

"Vic doesn't need to work on his upper body, boxing is enough for him
in terms of maintenance there," Knowles said. "But by working on the
power from his legs, we believe we can increase his power quite
          considerably."

Darchinyan's manager Elias Nasser admitted the assignment of finding
fights was tough because of Darchinyan's fearsome reputation.

VIC DARCHINYAN VS NONITO DONEIR REMATCH IN JUNE

            PanARMENIAN.Net
            04.02.2010 13:48 GMT+04:00

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Promoter of the Armenian boxer Vic Darchinyan
Gary Shaw is pushing for Nonito Doneir (Philippines) to fight WBC/WBA
superflyweight champion Viv Darchinyan in June with Southern California
being a likely landing spot for the fight, BoxingScene.com reported.

"Nonito would like to get another fight in before June, so we'll see.

He definitely wants Darchinyan. If a deal can be worked out we will
make the fight at 115 where Nonito is fighting at now. Nonito really
wants to be busy and fight for 4 times this year," the manager of
            Cameron Dunkin said.

If Doneir makes short work out of Guerrero, maybe Top rank can squeeze
him in fight with Arce in April, but a bad cut or other injury could
            jeopardize the Darchinyan rematch.

Vakhtang Darchinyan or Vic "Raging Bull" Darchinyan (born 7 January
1976 in Vanadzor, Armenia) is a professional boxer who is the current
WBA, WBC unified Super Flyweight World Champion. Darchinyan was also
formerly the IBF and IBO champion of the flyweight division and
briefly reigned as the IBO's super flyweight champion also. He is
a southpaw boxer, who currently trains under Billy Hussein, brother
of boxers Nedal and Hussein Hussein. Previously, he was trained by
former 3-division world champion, Jeff Fenech in Sydney.

Darchinyan's amateur career was 158-18 record with 105 knockouts,
fighting in many different countries, as he participated for Armenia
in the2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. He went to the third
round in the 112 lb division before losing against Bulat Jumadilov
ofKazakhstan. Darchinyan moved to Australia after competing in the
Olympics, eventually became an Australian citizen on 7 July 2004.

Darchinyan turned pro at age 24 on 3 November 2000.

He won his IBF title on 16 December 2004, in his first fight in the
United States, beating respected champion Irene Pacheco of Colombia,
            via 11 round technical knock-out.

On February 7, 2009, Darchinyan successfully defended his unified
title against Jorge Arce, winning by TKO in the 11th round.
