Good fight. There has to be a re match and I think Arthur will in it for the kill like never before. This bs loss may motivate him more than anything else could have.

      MMA>boxing

I enjoy a good boxing match more than I do MMA. Boxing used to be better before all this Don King promotional crap and this Hollywood/Vegas sensationalistic BS. It's all hype and drama and about drawing a crowd and the size of the purse.

I agree with Kanada here. But despite the likes of shady promotors and bad judges and reffs.. boxing still kicks ass. I forgot to mention there were a few celeberties at this fight to. Some rappers and basket ball players....

The similar thing happened during the Margarito vs Cotto fight and nobody seemed to have disqualified Margarito. Cotto goes to one knee and Margarito connects directly to the head and the fight continues. No complaints by anyone... fast forward to about the 2:00 mark.

Boxing is dying, it is one dimensional, more dangerous to the health of the athletes, and I would rather face a boxer in a fight than an mma fighter anyday.

Boxing is one dimensional? You obviously dont know a thing about boxing. Boxing is a very interesting multidimensional sport. Strategy and physical abilities go hand i hand and there are multiple styles. The boxing matches i attended saturday night was a good display of many different styles and types of fighters. The promoters are the ones who ruin it for the others by bribing judges and the atheletes. A boxing match between evenly matched fighters is very exciting. Abraham fights a boring defencive style but at the end of his matches everyone is standing up not sitting down because he is gona knock out his opponent. It is still a very exciting sport and will improve if better reffs are trained and the promoters are kept under control.

Can you kick, knee, wrestle/grapple or choke someone in boxing? NO! All you can do his hit the other boxer in the head and body. Compare that to MMA, and you'll understand the comment about boxing being one dimensional. I like boxing too, but MMA is already over taking boxing and for good reasons too, such as what you pointed out above.
