You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)

- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

From what I've found out he is fully Russian adopted by Armenian parents, and hence the slavic look and Armenian name

Yura Movsisyan who is the only person giving spartak a hint of respectability has his shirt thrown back to the pitch by the team ultras after scoring
He has basically scored all of the teams goals in the past 2 months

time to quit messing around with this amateurish mess and move to western europe

          Good things for Team Armenia

Armenia roster for Algeria, Germany matches announced

          by Emil Sanamyan

          Published: Friday May 09, 2014

Washington - Head coach Bernard Challandes has made public an expanded list of footballers playing outside Armenia who are invited to the national team for upcoming friendlies with Algeria on May 31 in Sion, Switzerland and Germany on June 6 in Mainz, with training camp in Yerevan beginning on May 21.

The invitations includes the mainstays of the national team in the last qualification campaign, goalkeeper Roman Berezovsky (Dynamo Moscow), defenders Robert Arzumanian (Aktobe Kazakhstan), Levon Hayrapetyan (Pribram, Czech Rep.), Artak Yedigaryan (Zalgiris, Lithuania), defensive midfielders Artur Yedigaryan (Kairat, Kazakhstan) and Karlen Mkrtchyan (Anzhi Makhachkala), attacking midfielders Henrikh Mkhitaryan (Borussia Dortmund), Gevorg Ghazaryan (Metallurg Donetsk) and Aras Ozbiliz (Spartak Moscow) and forwards Yura Movsisyan (Spartak Moscow) and Artur Sarkisov (Volga Nizhniy Novgorod). Marcos Pizelli (Aktobe Kazakhstan) will skip the friendlies due to family reasons.

Also expected to join the team ahead of the friendlies are Armenia-based players: goalkeeper Gevorg Kasparov, and defenders Hrair Mkoyan, Varazdat Haroyan and Kamo Hovannisyan. Team veterans defender Valery Aleksanyan and midfielder David Manoyan are now recovering from surgeries and will not be available.

Significantly, Challandes is also reaching out to players who were not invited for most recent matches: forward Edgar Manucharyan (Ural Yekaterinburg), attacking midfielder Norayr Mamedov-Aslanyan (Willem II, Holland) and defender Artem Khachaturov (Tiraspol, Moldova). Manucharyan's invitation is noteworthy in that he has been repeatedly and publicly disparaged by the Football Federation head Ruben Hayrapetyan, but has improved his play for Ural in recent months.

Five players are set for their national team debuts: forwards Mauro Guevgeozian (Alianza Lima, Peru) and Artur Miranyan (Shakhtar Donetsk), attacking midfielder Artem Simonyan (Zenit Saint Petersburg) and defensive midfielders Armen Ambartsumyan (CSKA Moscow) and Aleksandr Tumasyan (Jaro, Finland). Another perspective Russia-born player, 18-year-old offensive midfielder Arshak Koryan of Lokomotiv Moscow, apparently declined to be invited.

Guevgeozian, 28, who was previously disinvited by Hayrapetyan, has scored 7 goals in 15 matches for his club this season, at least five of them headers. The Uruguay-born striker should become a key addition to Yura Movsisyan at the front. Armenia-born Miranyan, 18, is a longer-shot, but talented prospect who previously played for Ukraine's U19 team. Russia-born Simonyan, 19, Ambartsumyan, 20, and Tumasyan, 22 are in better position to make an immediate difference for the national team, particularly in defensive midfield.

Aleksandr Tumasyan is a younger brother of an experienced defender Denis Tumasyan (Ural Yekaterinburg), who has been another prospective player for Armenia whom Hayrapetyan has long refused to invite. Challandes reportedly met the older Tumasyan, while on a trip to Russia. An invitation to him was not offered likely because the defender has been benched by his club for much of the current season.

By reaching out to Manucharyan, Guevgeozian and the younger Tumasyan, Challandes is showing welcome signs of independence from Hayrapetyan. The overall aim appears to be to find replacements for Armenia's weakest links in defense, while also reinforcing the offensive line.

Matches against Algeria, ranked 25th in the world, and Germany, a football powerhouse now ranked second in the world, will give the 33rd ranked Armenia an opportunity to test its abilities ahead of the upcoming European qualification tournament that begins in September. Armenia has been drawn into a tough group with Portugal (ranked third in the world), Denmark (23rd), Serbia (30th) and Albania (70th).

that's a lot of exciting new players. It's impressive to see the coach taking some charge of this team. I'm really excited to see them in action, specially with three games scheduled.

Why this Armenian striker would be a good signing for a Premier League club

Yura Movsisyan of Spartak Moscow could prove to be a good signing for a Premier League club looking for a striker.

Spartak Moscow’s Yura Movsisyan could prove to be a potential summer transfer target for Premier League clubs craving additional firepower upfront.

The Armenian striker has netted 18 goals in 29 games across all competitions in 2013-14 to lead Spartak’s scoring charts, while being widely recognised as one of the top players in the Russian Premier League alongside the likes of Seydou Doumbia and Aleksandr Kerzhakov.

The club reportedly turned down a €7.5 million (£6.1 million) bid from Wolfsburg for the 26-year-old during the January transfer window, but, with his goalscoring exploits attracting increasing attention from a handful of English and German outfits, it remains to be seen how much longer they will be able to ward off interest.

The player’s agent, Patrick McCabe, told R-Sport in Russia earlier this year that his client would be open to a transfer and that at least two Premier League teams were closely monitoring his status, with an eye on renewing interest over the coming months.

Tottenham Hotspur were one of the clubs rumoured to be keen on Movsisyan, but it is expected that they would have to pay significantly more than the €7.5 million offered by Wolfsburg in order to make the well-travelled goalscorer the first Armenian international to ply his trade in England.

Modelling his game after his idol, Thierry Henry, Movsisyan’s pace on the attack - whether from out wide or through the middle - has put opposition defenders to the sword in Russia and the Europa League this past season, while his strength on the ball should make him well-suited to the English game.

Along with Tottenham, Everton and Stoke City could be two teams potentially interested in the former Real Salt Lake man’s services, having both been linked to the player prior to his move to Spartak from FC Krasnodar in December 2012.

Despite having grown up in Pasadena, California, Movsisyan passed on the opportunity to play for the USA national team in favour of the country of his parents, but his absence from the shopping window of the World Cup this summer will do nothing to deter interest.
