    I hope so, Mher.

Unfortunately, the group Armenia has been stuck in for WC qualification is really tough.

The state of football is still a far cry from the good old Soviet days but I am hoping that the recent success isn't a fluke and that the country experiences a renaissance.

Ya I think unless we see multiple excellent performances in a row, the WC is a lost cause. Coming into the group, I thought we would need 5-7 points out of the first 3 games to have a realistic chance and we only got 3. The Italy game, the first goal was a BS penalty call, and we controlled much of the middle part of the game. We could have easily at the very least come out with one point. The Bulgaria game was a huge under performance also. Sako Hovsepyan with allowing the goal and then getting himself kicked out. The only consolation is that Denmark has underperformed and there have been some very favorable results for us in the other group matches.

I think Euro 2016 is a much more realistic goal now, and something we should certainly qualify for, now that the field has been expanded from 16 team to 24.

The most positive aspect is, all of our best players are in the early parts of their career and will be around for another decade and will only improve, and will keep the team at a respectable level for a while, attracting new talent from the diaspora, and inspiring new talent from within the country.

Well, in 2011 the game against Slovakia was kinda the turning point, so maybe -- hopefully -- the team will perform similarly against the Czech Republic.

I think the turning point was with Mr Porterfield. What he did for our team was to make the players believe they had a shot to win and that was very different from playing for a tie mentality that predominated armenian football all the years before. There is still a lot of football to be played in this wc qualifier and anything can happen. I would like to beat the crap out of the bulgarians just to show their racist sob fans that their bully team aint got sheet for talent.

Artem Khachaturov is a defender, which is just what Armenia needs.

Guys, Armenia has had some success recently but I have to say I'm getting more and more optimistic about the team. There seems to be an increasingly strong will to win, to bring in youth and vitality; to not be satisfied with tying good teams but attacking and beating them. They're getting closer and success breeds more success- just like Armenian forces in Artsakh.

Would be nice if we can make some noise during this wc qualifying campaighn and maybe we will qualify for the next euro.
