The Karamyan twins, members of the Armenian National squad, have finally found a new club.

After leaving Ukraine's Arsenal (it seems that the team has financial problems), and training with Armenia's Pyunik for the past four months, the Karamyans will be joining Romania's Rapid Bucharest club on June 21. The deal, it seems, was brokered by Pyunik's (and Armenia's) coach, Mihail Stoichita, who is Romanian.

Not a bad destination....though I was hoping for something a little better.

Also, FC Pyunik's Garen Aleksanian is on trial with Switzerland's club Zurich. He has impressed so far, and is hoping to stay there. Armenia's Arthur Bedrosyan already plays in Zurich, and maybe that can be a plus for Aleksanian.

It seems like we're finally getting our players in descent leagues. (I still don't understand how so many Armenians end up in Switzerland).

No idea how much they get paid, but don't think about starting a charity or anything. They're getting along just fine.

When the Karamyans got transfered to the Greek club Panahaiki a year or two ago, the deal was well in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, if I remember correctly. And Panahaiki is the poorest club in Greece (I'm not even sure if they remained in the Premier league since the Karamyans' departure).

Arthur Bedrosyan is one of the key players of Zurich, and I'm sure he's quite stable financially also (same goes for Dokhoyan, Berezhovsky, Sargsyan, yevayln...all those in foreign premier leagues).

As for the domestic league, I do not have much info on any club except FC Pyunik, who is in a pretty good financial situation. Their last coach, Oscar Lopez received around 200K to coach both Pyunik and Armenia's national team, to give you an example. FFA president Ruben Hayrapetyan is also known for doing things like buying cars or paying big bonuses to players who impress on the international level.

I'd guess that Banants, Ararat and Shirak are also pretty stable financially.

lol, in that case, you could probably also be the star player at the same time.
