Ara Hakopian to Everton FC ? ?

There is presently a strong (& recurring) rumour circulating that Everton FC are on the verge of acquiring Banants striker Ara Hakopian.

Everton site bluekipper.com has carried this rumour on a couple of occasions now.

Oct15 - You know your club is desperate for any kind of striker when you are linked to a move for a player who plays in the Armeinan League. We've never heard of the 25 year old, so why the hell not, lets buy him for the laugh (because everyone else will be laughing at us if we do!). If we do sign him and he scores 20 goals in a season for Everton, SwedishToffee will run naked through T-Centralen - WE PROMISE!!

its Aram Hakobyan that plays for Banants, not Ara. Ara Hakobyan plays for I think Stal in the Ukrainian premier league. I haven't heard anything about this rumour, but if it was true it would be great.
