Aronian lost to Anand in round2, but i still have hope for Aronian .Anand's c5 move was the interesting move in the oppening and it gave him a positional advantage.Aronian's white colored bishop was dead,we can say he played without a bishop to Anand.
This game will encourage the chess players to play queen's gambit accepted imo.

I really didn't understand that 19. Kh1 move by Aronian. My simplistic mind said play Bd6. I checked that in the computer, and the computer didn't think it was a bad idea. I looked like Aronian surrendered the initiative with that move. The computer was giving white a healthy advantage before the king move.

I think Levon had too much fun in Jermuk. He should have done as much preparation as Vishy clearly did before their game.

I play at the Chess assistant club. All the games from the championship are actually recorded there. The neat thing is that there is also a chess engine that you can turn on while looking at the game. You can also try your own moves, to see what happens, and see how the computer responds.

The world champion, Vladimir Kramnik, made a draw with armenian grand master Levon Aronian, in just 21 moves.
Closing his sixth round, Kramnik has got 3.5, while the Armenian, who is recovering from a sudden illness, has got 2.5.

He had a serious bacterial infection and had to have antibiotics. I'm sure that was the main factor. He apparently had at least two games where he had a strong winning position and let it slip.

But it seems like he's getting better. He had a very pretty victory today, putting him 1.5 points behind the leader. At the very least he'll hopefully have a strong finish.
