• Picture upload inquiry

    Hi folks,

I'm a new member on here, I joined 4 days ago and uploaded 5 pictures that were pending for approval. I checked my page yesterday and found out that 3 of the 5 pictures have been posted. My question is: Does that mean that the other 2 got rejected or are they still pending for approval?

    Thanks,
    Raffi

No, most probably the pictures have not been reviewed yet. There are literally thousands of pics that get manually screened and approved/disapproved. If you pics meet the guidelines, they should be approved shortly.

I also have a question on picutures. In "Famous Armenians" I uploaded a picture with a post. But the picture appears as an attachment that someone has to click on. Other posts have the actaul picture visible in the post. How do I get to place the picture in the actual post?

When the picture is in the actual post, that's called linking to the picture. You find the picture you want to link to on the internet, right click-properties. Then copy the location, it usually ends in .jpg (although it can end in .bmp, etc) After copying the location, click on the box that says insert picture, paste your location in the box that pops up. Or you can manually type

          test

          OK I will test it:

What if the picture is on file and not on the internet?

          Thank you...

If your picture is on your harddrive, you have to either attach it or upload it to a website. Photobucket.com offers free image hosting.
