My day has consisted of me successfully (so far) putting off my studying for my O Chem exam on Monday, doing absolutely nothing. You could say my day sucked, since I'm doing nothing to ease my stress of failing. :D
Hey ck, at least you're done with O Chem. That's good news right there.

My day was exciting.
If you consider waking up with a hang over in the afternoon and then studying until dinner time to then find yourself online.
lol sSsflamesSs, ditto... except that in my case, it's 3 essays. :( I feel so loved. Can't you tell? :o

Yeah, o-chem came and left, but I have a physiology midterm on Monday and I haven't even started reading for it. Arghh. WHY do I do this to myself?? p.s. flames if you have to take another upper div. bio class, might I suggest physio? It's great. Dr. Herrera and Dr. Byrely are the nicest people ever and pretty great professors. Also, during lab you get to do fun stuff, like, and I quote 'remove the frog skin like you would take off a pair of stockings'. Who came up with that description?? Gross factor and skinning of a frog that was alive five minutes ago aside, it's pretty cool to see a muscle nerve of a frog do a little dance when you hit it with a little bit of current.
So we all feel eachothers pain. Today sucked. Which makes it not any better for me, I'd rather if at least one of you in here had a nice day so that I could live vicariously through you. A stupid sucky day it was indeed.:(

As for the rest of the day, just cant describe it, it's magnificent, like the "magnificent Ambersons". anyways, hope u feel better, cos i know Ck u need love, like Elton John's song "I want love".

My other essay was due 2 weeks ago but I'm still not done.. luckily our prof. gave us all an extension till feb. 13 because she had a surgery and was absent for 3 weeks.

This should make you feel better, you're not a Bruin.
My instructor informed us that he is going to pick the top 5 students to do a procedure (on a dummy) with him. Now mind you, we don't actually learn this stuff until 4 months from now, he just wants to give us a "taste" of the real thing. So guess who gets to do a mock breast removal on Monday? The first 2 students went Thursday, and he was yelling and throwing instruments around. I just can't wait for Monday to end.
Oh ya, this mock surgery is our final grade, either an A or a C. The rest of the class has a easier final.
Emil
Emil, are you a med student or what??!
We had to identify all the muscles in the cat, as well as the different parts of the sheep's heart. Jesus Christ. Here I was, trying to identify the different parts and muscles for my lab test, and at the same time trying to get it done and over with cos I was about to faint right then and there. :o It's not so much about blood. It's about the smell!! UGH!! Sheep's heart = worse than cat. :(

my day...
well for those of you who aren't in california, it was just such a beautiful day today. i would totally go to the beach if I wasn't working.
so I woke up at 10, went to the bank, went jogging at Grifffith park:D , and then went to work around 2 until umm 10ish. and it was pretty hectic at work I gotta say. lets just say I work at a restaurant, and the wait to get a table today was :
AN HOUR AND FORTY MINUTES.
I mean WHO WAITS THAT LONG FOR A TABLE?
apparently our timekilling cutomers.
but we have good food. hehe:D
so anyway, wow i'm so talkative.

Of course it does... Here was a tiny example. We can call it forum love. See how many people replied? =) Thanks guys! :D
Anyway, if you want a tiny glimpse into what love really is, read this:
Originally posted by loseyourname Love is vulnerability and aching, it is strength on the brink of destruction, it's a bottomless emptiness bottomed out. Love is committment and sweat, love is willingness and sacrifice, it is the height of altruism and selfishness melded into one. Love is a spark that excites every nerve ending in your skin any time a certain person's fingernail grazes the surface or anytime her smile flashes before your eyes. Love is a controlled explosion in your heart that boils your blood and swells your extremities, it is quiet and magnificent, bold and risky, and it is the only thing I live for.
I couldn't agree more.
Have a happy Sunday!:)

like i said excuse him, republicans think they can decide who deserves what, like tax cuts, prescription benefits, oh and they decided to cut veteran benefits after they risked their lives for their country. oh not to mention they cut current military benefits after sending them to Iraq under false pretenses. Oh and after doing all of this they had the nerve to call people who didn't support the war 'unpatriotic'. who's really unpatriotic by stripping the very same men and women who protect and put their lives on the line, of medical benefits....
so ya jah...excuse his moron idiot ass...

The Republican party platform has nothing do to with the specific war in Iraq. One politician with his views, George Bush, and the whole congress decided what they would do with the troops. It took a bi partisan effort to repeal the benefits, and it does not reflect the views of either party. Your knowledge of politics and due process are lacking.
Republicans have decided that everyone is equal and can achieve things for themselves. Republicans dont think its right for a government to decide who gets what, but for the individual to decide what they get for themselves.
You are ignorant and arrogant. Your mother and father must be very proud. Name calling is consistent with you and people of opposing views. Name calling is the last refuge of the pointless and ill educated.

I dont think you have any idea what positions I hold, or who I have worked with. You are bluffing. Lying is soo easy over the internet isnt it.
Learning about all sides of politics is useless, especially when you have already done it. I dont think they teach right wing persuasions in most Universities in California. Your knowledge of the education system is lacking as well. I have heard of, and learned about most all political persuasions, and none impress freedom and indpendence as much as the Republican party.
Why dont you try to learn about the Republican party? If the question sounds stupid, then you now what it is like to read your posts and your half wit questions to get yourself out of a rut.
Thanks to you, I now know that the forum represents the political affiliation statistics of this nation. Actually, most of this nation is conservative in philosophy. It looks to me as though you are wrong; for if we were determining right and wrong by majority opinion, then I would be correct, because the nation supports my ideals and values. If you have worked for people, like you try to imply you have, then you would know the one simple premise of the constitution: Freedom of expression. That article was designed to especially protect the minority point of view, for the majority does not need protection.
I had no idea partisan affiliations dictated the quality of Armenian one is. Your statements prove clearly that you are a uneducated. Your attacks are personal, and not partisan.
You are the embarrassing scum that misrepresents Armenians. Next time I see you on a curb with handcuffs, I will smile. And you can tell me how Armenian you are while they are shoving you in the back of a car.

ask anyone that knows me...i dont bluff! I've learned about all sides of politics, and oh young one, you may want to retake those classes, cause as articulate you make sound, it's obvious that you haven't learned anything but one end of things.

Tell me what you have done for the "Armenian cause." I am interested. Maybe we can shed light on our efforts.
And as for your bashing of right wing ideology. I think it is a very weak argument for labeling someone ignorant for siding with a political party. Ignorance, on my part, is your only assumption and premise for you to base your conclusion: joining the Republican party. Very weak arguement indeed. I dont care whether you know every political party of every state that ever existed. It has no bearing. I believe in Republican philosophy because they align with my views. After taking extensive classes and working with several people, I have solidified my views and I know they are the best for society. I think that your views of the Republican party are of those reflected in propoganda. That is why you label me with ignorance, you have nothing else but the information that college students post on bus stops. Sad really.
There are people that no more than you that are on the Republican party, there are others who are subscribed to the Democrat party. Comparative knowledge has no factor or aspect in deciding the alignment of political party.

Well, lets start off in Oklahoma. Even not having a heavy population of Armenians, we still got our voices heard. In Tulsa where there's barely 50 Armenians there, we made the city recognize the Armenian Genocide, and they commemorate April 24th every year in that city. We had the city adopt a sister city in Armenia. We ousted Congressman Steve Largent, and denied him his run for Governor due to his continuous record of being 'anti-armenian'. With help from the Armenian community in Oklahoma City, we had the state gov't recognize Armenian issues along with the push to send aid. I have worked with Congressman Sherman, Sen. Boxer, Sen. Graham, and many other public officials to push legislation. I have worked with Republicans and Democrats in different issues. I'm not as 'anti-rep' as you think. I've told you many times, I support some of Sen. McCains views and his stand on issues.
Now the rest of your 'reply' is vague, doesn't make sense, and is of continuous senseless blabber...
Now what about love? :D
