Other than the usuals, what are the most interesting events in Armenian History?

Whenever we hear people talk about the most interesting things that have happened in our history, the events described are usually the same select few

Tigran the Great's Expansion,
Vartanantz,
Conversion to Christianity/Alphabet creation,
The Genocide
Independence
War and conflict with Azebaijan.

But what are some possibly more interesting and less heard about events in our history? For instance, was there ever any kind of War of the Roses or Game Of Thrones political backstabbing between members of royal families vying for the throne? etc

Sure there was but only a good historian may or may not know about it. One of the interesting things you did not mention was the last kingdom packing up and moving to Cilicya. Our history is long but our independence is not..therefore the kind of stuff you are talking about is mostly forgotten.

My travel back in time found many questions.
The book of doom speaks of the "Armina" as one of 5 or so people's inhabiting the island when Saxons came there. What was their journey and when did they get there.
What was their interaction with the other people's and is there any collective memory there today?
Lavash in Wales & Hayastan come to mind. Kara Hunge (talking stones?) and stone Henge come to mind also. Henge doesn't have a meaning in local speach but is quite similar to Hunge in Armenian.
What were we doing before converting ? What was our conduct and way of life?
Haig leaves the Assyr and returns to the land of his origins. That belies that we have a long history in the original city states.
Many questions.

Ever looked up the nutritional value of hemp seeds & oil?
For health and well being, it's tough to beat.

The USA diet of yesteryear compared to today ... well, when I was a kid it was rare to see an obese person and today it's common.
It was rare to hear someone was diabetic and today it's common, etc.

Many of the old ways sucked, but I think even more of the new sucks.

Seeds & food are cool if one has ever heard of moderation.
