Just wondering if any of you know where i can find a book about Ancient Armenian mythology, whether written in English or Armenian. I knwo a few stories and have heard couple of tales about Armenian gods/godesses- before we converted to Christianity.

Do you near in Glendale, just go to the Sardarabad bookstore and ask one of the ladies there to help you out, they have a very good amount of books. They also have a website, its not to extensive but its www.sardarabad.org I do believe. It's on Glendale right by Chevy Chase in the Sarkis pastry square.

I highly recommend you to get your hands on a book written by Armenian historian Martiros Kavoukjian called "Armenia, Subartu and Sumer - The Indo-European Homeland and ancient Mesopotamia."

The book is very scholarly yet relatively easy to read. Moreover, it is very fascinating and eye opening. The information regarding Armenian "Mythology" is found within chapter five of the book (it is printed in English and Armenian).

The following web-site contains a thread called "Armenian Religion From Primordial Era to Christianity" which I started within another forum about Armenia's pre-Christian religions: http://www.stormfront.org/forum/showthread.php?t=139550. Once within the thread look at post number two (#2).
