IMF is forecasting GDP volume reduction by 2.6% for Azerbaijan in 2013
Baku, Fineko/abc.az. International Monetary Fund (IMF) in World Economic Outlook 2008 confirmed conclusions of its experts regarding negative forecasts on Azerbaijan’s economic long-term development.
IMF informed if last year Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth made 23.4% then this year it will not exceed 18.6% and in 2009 reduce to 15.6%.
“In 2013 Azerbaijan’s GDP will reduce by 2.6%,” it was informed.
Azerbaijan will be single CIS country the economy of which in long-term perspective will enter an economic recession period.
