in general, outside of the church differences, do greeks and armenians like one another? or are you guys just like "eh, they're just people."?

European Armenian, Iranian Armenian, Lebanese Armenian, Israeli Armenian, Indian Armenian or Hayastanci; after all we are all Armenians.

could you elaborate on 'indian armenians'? i googled it and its on wikipedia. i want to know more. what religion do they follow?

Indian Armenians are Armenians who live/lived in India, The community was 30,000 strong at one point. The first constitution of an independent Armenia was published there as well as the first Armenian periodical in the mid 1700's.
They built churches there and they follow christianity, to this day their is still an Armenian church in Calcutta and one in Bengladesh.

What about Turkish Armenians? There are still some, the rest are scattered over the world after the Genocide, commited and denied by your leaders.

Okay, to everyone in this thread, and specifically TresBien, please watch your language. This is a general warning, not aimed just atTresBien, although her obvious distaste for Hayastansis is evident and makes her more important in terms of this warning. Either curb your express dislike of Hayastansis, or don't post if you feel the urge to dislike Hayastansis (myself being one), or face the consequences if you continue to do so.

This is an Armenian forum and this sort of stupid bickering won't be tolerated.

in most respects when people generalize they don't look good. It's not an educated, savvy and an intelligent person's action. I believe that we must all try to stay away from generalizations. European armenian, iranian armenian, lebanese armenian, israeli armenian, indian armenian or hayastanci; after all we are all armenians. Yes because of our unfortunate past and the lack of owning and having our own country for a century made armenians all over the world to be a bit "aylaserads" and have diverted to some extent from the true way of living of our anscestors as we were scattered all over the globe; but now finally we have a country and we should all try to tolerate each other and our differences for the sake of the big picture. And the big picture is our sustained identity, our culture and our armenianess, and of course loving and supporting our homeland.
