Re: Aliyev Says Armenia's 'Aggression' Threatens Azeri Peace

so long as you use baboon to mock the intelligence of heads of state, it could be tolerated. However, once you start calling countries "baboonistan", you insult the members from those countries who post here. This is not tolerated.

I will start a thread where we can compile resouces together to make a document for Turks to read and understand our stance and worldview.

Well since 'baboonistan' has only been used in reference to azerbaijan we haven't insulted any members as far as I know. I could understand turgay being frowned upon since we do have turk members.

Sure start a thread and we can compile bits and pieces from other posts and new things as well.

A Turk is a Turk right? Are you suddenly downplaying this when it comes to our name calling of their nations?

If a Turk insulted Artsakh, based on your premise, apparently we'd have no reason to be insulted because there are no Artsakhtsis here.

Actually since Artsakh is part of Armenia and I am from Armenia as are all Armenian members here in one form or another, yes it would be insulting a GREAT majority of us, including you.

exactly. And why should a Turk feel different about you insulting Azerbaijan? On the surface they are different countries, but really they're the same.

I think the point Armanen is trying to get across (and which with I 100% agree with) is that first and foremost this is an Armenian forum for Armenians. This is not an Armenian forum for 'azeris' or 'turks'. It's a forum for Armenians and should be a safehaven for us to talk about turks or azeris in anyway that seems fit.

Above all, we should not be worried about 'azeri' or 'turkish' members of this forum who are actively fighting against Armenia and the Armenian Cause. They have killed our brothers in Hayastan and Artsakh, and they killed our grandmothers and grandfathers in Arevmdian Hayastan 80 years ago.

To any Armenian nationalist, or even to any Armenian in general, being worried about hurting their feelings is repulsive.

Now don't get me wrong, admins and mods have the right to set any standards they want. But I am asking you and all admins/mods, as one Armenian to another, to think first as an Armenian and then as an admin/mod.

The so called azeri's or Caucasian tatars are just as mixed of a people as the turks if not more so. They like to claim blood connection with turks because of the common culture and language but they in fact have more Armenian, Median, Caucasian Albanian, georgian and many other Caucasian blood than they'd like to admit.

Artsakh has always been Armenian land and for centuries was part of the Armenian Kingdom. Fake azerbaijan was never part of the ottoman empire, ever, and it wasn't until the 1918 that the name azeri was given to them.

So no, I don't think you're comparison is fair or accurate.

JGK, with all due respect, this comparison is flawed for the reasons Armanen and Yerazishda pointed out.

You are pushing it way too much. Tolerance is sth good as long as it is administered in potions. To whom deserves it....

I agree with majority.Infact, name calling is not insult to turks.(So, It is unnecessary to protect turks feelings against name calling.) It does not show the degree or quality of Turks or azeris but the one who use namecalling.

So Armanen or others should use this name calling and we should see their quality. So we(or other guests.) can decide whether to give any importance to their words or not. (until now, I just take them as joke.)

Infact, I think that No turks at forum realy give much interest with their name calling and Turks are not actively fighting against namecallings.

If majority of armenians use name calling, It is insult against armenian nation, not againt turks or azeris. So, It is totally unrelated with our feelings and I have no interest to protect armenian nation fame against armenians themself.
