  • New Armenian Parliament

Finally after years, we are going to get a new Armenian parliament. This time, it will be possible to receive guests without them having the feeling being in a fifty year old class room in some Soviet village. Maybe this will further motivate parliament members to work harder for a better, stronger and more modern Republic of Eastern Armenia.

Maybe we can get some gaurds to who will keep terrorists from entering it and killing people instead of being on the take. Good luck with the new building.

Yes, we could do that too.

But..but... that's the only time we get to make it to the news.

KanadaHye, could you stop posting non-related comments in my topic? If you don't have anything serious to say, just keep silent.

Muhaha, I am trying to find an article/photos but it's hard to find, it came on HyeLur yesterday.

I really enjoy the humor Kanadahye brings even and perhaps especially to the "important-serious" discussions. Many times i and Kanadahye have found ourselves on opposing sides of a argument and i have to congratulate him for making better arguments then he used to. We do have similar views on some important issues. As for the parliament it is important to remember that it is the people inside the building that matter and make the decisions and moving them from one building to another will not change them. When they start breaking up monopolies and doing the right things for our country then perhaps we can build them a beutiful building.

Well, I had to break the communist style moderating that I was shocked to find on an Armenian forum when I stumbled upon this site. I'm all for freedom of speech and freedom of religion and many of our ancestors were killed for being of a certain denomination or leaders in their community. Unless Armenians want to go back to being ruled by zionist/bolsheviks then they should know what elements caused our demise and learn from it. I also strongly believe that people should be able to determine their own future through the proper channels of education and not belong to some system designed to enslave you. I hope the future leaders that occupy the parliament have the same wishes for the people of Armenia.

It is important to remember not to be negative always and just once enjoy the moment. We know, Armenia has many problems, but try to relax. We should promote positive news, and I am happy we will get a new parliament, even if it would be for the ''future'' holy government (as if politicians in other countries are perfect).
