For a package holiday, Turkey is not significantly cheaper than either Greece, Spain, or Bulgaria. 10 years ago maybe, but not now. But since Armenia is not an EU nation, I am assuming that it is probably far easier, or at least far cheaper and quicker, for an Armenian citizen to get a tourist visa for Turkey than for Europe.

Very dangerous - you risk eternal damnation.

Delicate Iranian eyes need to be protected from the ungodly sights of women walking around near naked (i.e. not entirely covered with black cloth), women driving cars, women walking about unescorted, women actually walking hand-in-hand with their boyfriends (Oh! the obscenity of that recent innovation!) and the truly unspeakable horror of actually seeing alchohol openly on sale and of realising that it is not alchohol-free beer! To minimise these risks there are Iranian buses that travel by carefully chosen routes that avoid the damnation-inducing hotspots of large towns and that have their own chain of Iranians-only highway rest-stops, thus avoiding normal restaurants with the evils of TV sets, unsegregated female customers, and so on. But for Iranians, the worst of all the terrors to be found in Turkey is the price of petrol.

I hope they learned their lesson: don't travel to enemy territory unarmed, and don't go there and spend your money and improve enemy economy.

People will probably forget about these events next summer, and still go to Turkey and spend their money.

Armenians should only ever cross this "border" in uniform and numbers.......................
