The best effects were those that used the architecture of the building.
It's a pity the content wasn't a bit more politically adventurous: they could have turned the opera house into one big mafiosi-run goon-filled cafe, plastered with beer and cola adverts.
Technology has come a long way since Gail Porter's naked photo was projected onto the Houses of Parliament.
Thank you. It was amazing! I watched it live on H1. Some of the songs that I had never liked had become beautiful thanks to the Kohar's (Gohar) professional musicians. I wonder where (which diasporan community) they come from?

The conductor is Sebuh Abkarian.
He taught for many many years in Cyprus at the Melkonian Educational Institute.
His father was also committed to the Melkonian Institute as a respected sports leader and teacher so my mother tells me.
This was of course at the time of the genocide survivors which the Institute was built by the parerars Melkonian Brothers.
His subjects were drawing (arts) and he used to run the college choir and other artistic presentations.
All to a very high standard, frequently attended by members of the local Armenian community.
A very loved and respected teacher by both students and staff.
I was his student in the mid sixties, however I do not think he would have been very proud of me!!
I was not artistically talented, nothing worse than that!!
Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests
