Also I am not an Armenian but a Turk. However I visited Armenia with my Hong Kong Passport several times. For the topic here about Ataturk, I would like to say that even if he is gay or alcoholic (or even he has more vices), all the nations who need to have an independent war; need a person like Ataturk. Because no one can deny Ataturk's brave efforts of establishing Modern Turkey.

And you must be sure that Ataturk's foundation of Turkish Repulic saved the mid.-east. If he hadnot take the action; Turkey, Armenia, Iran, Syria and the other neighboring countries will be in the same position with todays Iraq. European countries (as you may well know) are very fond of colonial chancelleries and they were in Anatolia before Ataturk. And we all would suffer. All the other affairs such as (so called) genocide are our own problems and we can solve them.

Atatürk was an amazing man. His forces displayed exceptional heroism and solidarity in their war of national liberation against the imperialists. The era of Atatürk brought unprecedented progress in Turkey when the caliphate was abolished and a modern bourgeois republic was established. Progressive measures were implemented such as the separation of church and state and equality for women.

Atatürk was a friend Russia, Armenia, and to the soviet power. Russia gave significant aid in the Kemalists' struggle against imperialism. Aid was given in the form of money, arms, and other supplies.
