Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Azerbaijan’s “blacklist” may be filled up with new European parliamentarians

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry is examining the information on the European Parliament members’ visit to Nagorno Karabakh, AZE.az reported.

“If the information spread by Armenia media proves true, these politicians will be included into the blacklist,” said Elkhan Polukhov, a spokesman for the Azerbaijani MFA.

they dont say anything about the war in the documentary, meaning they dont say azerbaijan attacked or about the pogroms. the director was with a group of soldiers during the war. The purpose of the documentary was to show what these people are doing now. the way i see it the azeris complained about it without even watching it because it was made by an Armenian. the whole documentary just showed that the war also affected the Armenian's while the azeris consider themselves the only victims.

edit: if i find a link to the movie ill let you know

This has existed for a long time now and the list is very crowded. Among the members in it include some French and Russian MPs. Basically, anyone who visits on a non-diplomatic mission is put on this blacklists. Lots of Russian singers on the list as well.

          Armenian hackers attack Azerbaijani website
          04 November 2010 [15:20] - Today.Az
Armenian hackers have attacked the website of the Coordinating Council of Azerbaijani Youth (KSAM).

The KSAM information and analytical website, ksam.org, which belongs to the Azerbaijani diaspora living in Russia, once attacked by Armenian hackers, the council reported. The site's domain name was stolen.

"The theft demonstrates how vile these individuals are, and their attitude toward contemporary democratic values, such as freedom of speech, thought and expression," the council reported.

The council added that the site had always placed a priority on being objective and accurate, and stressed the importance of pluralism and international law.

"Perpetrators of this crime, among other things, in the best way possible demonstrated their attitude toward the abovementioned values, and this can be characterized as a rejection of the foundations of a modern democratic society, a preference to distort the truth for the sake of dirty political games, and to deny justice and fairness," the council said.

KSAM also stated that it is not responsible for the information posted on the domain, and has made a transition to the new domains, 1ksam.org and 1ksam.com.

"We hope that we can regain our domain and we will continue to inform our readers about new developments," the council said.

ofcourse it was an Armenian. Everyone besides Armenians love azeris.
when they hack Armenian websites its ok but when Armenians hack there websites, its because they are "vile" individuals.

Baku’s lie revealed – Armenian captive Manvel Saribekyan was tortured in Azerbaijan
                November 5, 2010 - 18:11 AMT 14:11 GMT
PanARMENIAN.Net - Signs of violence to the body of Armenian shepherd Manvel Saribekyan, captivated and later murdered by Azeris, were revealed.

A criminal case was instigated in accordance with part 2, article 104 of Armenian Criminal Code (premeditated, violent murder), Armenian Prosecutor General's Office reported.

Manvel Saribekyan, a shepherd, was killed in the Azerbaijani captivity.

The Armenian Ministry of Defense stated Saribekyan completed his military service in May 2010 and had no relation to armed forces.

Several days after Saribekyan was taken prisoner, an interview with him was posted on the web. The expertise of the video material showed that the man was under heavy psychological pressure and pumped with special drugs.

On November 4, Armenia transferred Azerbaijani citizen Eldar Tagiev, who illegally crossed the Armenian border in December 2009, to Azerbaijan in exchange for the body of Saribekyan.

Azerbaijan protests against racist statements of Serzh Sargsyan
                  Sat 06 November 2010 05:34 GMT | -2:34 Local Time

Azerbaijan's permanent office in UN has sent a letter to the general secretary of this organization Ban Ki-moon.
News service for Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry reports that the letter condemns the thoughts of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan about "ethnic noncompliance of Azerbaijanis and Armenians" he voiced at his meeting with journalists of the Armenian diaspora on October 16 of 2010. In the same interview the Armenian president said the Armenian nation is a level higher than other peoples including Azerbaijanis, whom he called "the migrating Turkic-Muslim tribes".

The letter of protest says that the world has never forgotten such racist statements in history and what they have led to.
"Armenian senior officials have repeatedly made the statements, promoting ethnic inequality, contradicting the international law and ethics of humanity", the letter says "These statements reflect the essence of the state policy of Armenia".

Further in the letter the Azerbaijani side expresses confidence that the world community will join efforts and stop the policy of official Yerevan based on ethnic and religious intolerance, reject the territorial claims of Armenia to neighbor countries and will thus help restore tranquility and long-term peace and security in the South Caucasus region.

The Azerbaijani permanent office in UN has released a letter as an official statement among the member-states of the organization.

Azerbaijanis in Sweden send protest letter to UNESCO
                    Sat 13 November 2010 13:58 GMT | 5:58 Local Time
                    Text size:
Congress of Azerbaijanis in Sweden sent a letter of protest to UNESCO Secretary General Irina Bokova.
'Having seen the ‘Armenian cross-stones’ file on your website we cannot but express our feelings of bitterness and profound regret that the question is to be discussed at the organization’s 5th session in Kenya from 15 to 19 November 2010. As an entity in Sweden that unites in its ranks many ethnic Azerbaijanis from all walks of life we think it vital to draw your attention to the forged nature of the Armenian document.

Authors of the ‘Armenian cross-stones’ file make a deliberately false recourse to the symbols of ancient Azerbaijani crosses that go back to the period of Caucasian Albania. It can only be construed as a false attribution of purely Azerbaijani historical monuments to Armenia thus depriving our people from a significant part of our cultural and historical heritage', said the Congress in its letter.

'It is particularly frustrating that the file claims that ‘in the course of Armenia’s tumultuous history, the khachkars have passed through different periods – from thriving to suppression (during various invasions), oblivion (Soviet atheism), or even destruction (aftermath of military conflict)’. In that respect we firmly believe that all references to the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh run counter UNESCO’s declared aims. It is noteworthy that placing Nagorno-Karabakh - an integral part of the Republic of Azerbaijan – amongst sovereign states of the world bluntly violates all known norms of International Law.

It is a well-known fact that as much as one fifth of Azerbaijan’s territory, unfortunately still under the Armenian occupation, incurred the horror of barbaric destruction of all Azerbaijani historical monuments. Ancient Azerbaijani cross-carved-stones from the period of Caucasian Albania have been either demolished or forged. We believe that the forged file could lead to a surge of hatred and animosity among the peoples of the region, as well as to dangerous implications for the inter-ethnic dialogue and cooperation'.

In the end of the letter, the Congress writes: 'As a corollary, we herewith express our most respectful and insistent request that you spare no efforts to stop the nomination of the ‘Armenian cross-stones’ file at the meeting to be held between 15 and 19 November 2010. It is also our sincere hope that should any matter that runs counter Azerbaijan arise in your organization, you will prevent its further development'.
