Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!


2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.

    Հայաստանում տեխնոլոգիական զորամասի ստեղծման մասին լուրը բուռն արձագանք է ստացել, սակայն ՏՏ ոլորտի ներկայացուցիչներն այս մասին նախընտրում են լռել: Թե’ ՏՏ ոլորտի ներկայացուցիչները, թե’ պաշտպանության նախարարության ներկայացուցիչները խուսափում են խոսել մանրամասներից, ասելով. «Փակ թեմա է»:

    ՏՏ ոլորտի եւ հայկական բանակի համագործակցության մասին խոսակցությունները նոր չեն, դրանք պարբերաբար հայտնվում են պաշտոնական լրահոսներում, սակայն առայժմ հաջողվել է միայն մեկ կետի շուրջ համաձայնության գալ՝ տեխնոլոգիական զորամասի ստեղծում։

    Տեխնոլոգիական զորամասի ստեղծումն արդեն իրողություն է։ Այն կհամալրվի գարնանային զորակոչի ընթացքում՝ տեխնոլոգիական մասնագիտություններ ունեցող զորակոչիկներից: Ինֆորմացիոն տեխնոլոգիաների ձեռնարկությունների միության գործադիր տնօրեն Կարեն Վարդանյանի տեղեկացմամբ՝ զորամասում զորակոչիկներին կընդգրկեն մրցույթային կարգով։

    Մասնագետները հույս ունեն, որ տեխնոլոգիական զորամասի ստեղծումն ու ՏՏ ոլորտի մասնագետների գիտելիքների օգտագործումը կնպաստի երկրի պաշտպանունակության բարձրացմանը, նաեւ, որ այն բանակում «փափուկ բարձ» փնտրողների համար փրկություն չի դառնա:

      It is an IT unit, most probably will deal with IT security. I do not know how effective it will be, as the best armenian IT professionals work abroad. Some people also may use it just to find a nice and warm place in the army for theyr spoiled kids. But concidering the situation of inormation security in Armenia and activities of turk hakers some thing slike that is nesesary, maybe not in army but in NSS.

          YEREVAN. - A settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was the most realistic in 1997, when the problem could be resolved by yielding some territories to Azerbaijan, concluding a truce, and creating an interim status for Nagorno-Karabakh to determine final status in the future, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, former Armenian president and the leader of the oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC), told the BBC Russian service.

          As to the reasons why it failed, he said that the Karabakh people considered it was not enough. They showed a radical approach. They thought they could press even more and get more, he added.

          “Not only the Karabakh people, but also my people, some of my team. They did not agree to that plan. I told them: if you think there is a better solution, try to find it,” Ter-Petrosyan said.

          According to him, currently Armenia has one problem – a “distorted power.” If Armenia resolves this problem, it will become a normal, free state. The problems with both Azerbaijan and Turkey will be resolved.

          “However, if Armenia is faced with a disaster, we are the only ones to blame,” Ter-Petrosyan stressed.

              And yes he is xxxxed up... actually he got kicked in the ass exactly for trying to resolve Karabakh problem by returning land to azeries. That is a good lesson for our current governament as well....

                      Armenia is ages ahead of Azerbaijan when it comes to freedoms. Azerbaijan is a dictatorship, no doubt about it. At least in Armenia you can criticise and protest against the government without fear of being beat and arrested. Yeah, Azerbaijan great reforms with EU, your political climate is as it was during Soviet Union.
