It's not too much. In fact, the psychology of suicide works in very strange ways; it compels others to follow. When I was in high school, I remember a big national controversy on whether student suicides should be widely covered by media, because such attention would compel others to think: "If I kill myself, they will talk about me too."

I'm sure in Azeri Army it is different. Motive probably is not for attention, but for a release from daily life. There is also WIDESPREAD hazing. The fact that some conscripts do it makes it more clear of an option for others.. As of now, I'm fairly convinced that they are suicides and, furthermore, those BS stories claiming of "death by fall, health condition, etc," are probably just cover-ups for more suicides.

I agree with you , but aren't there deaths in our army too ? I know from my parents and co that there are poeple in the armenian army who are mistreaten ( I don't know if it is so now too I'm talking about 20 years ago ^^ ) ... And can't do anything just like in azeri army. But it's like we never see suicides in our army ! The only times we see suicides , mothers start complaining about that and think they got killed .

ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանը օգոստոսի 7-ին այցելել է հյուսիսարևելյան սահմանագոտի և տեղում ծանոթացել իրականացված շինարարական ու կառուցապատման լայնածավալ աշխատանքներին:
Այցի շրջանակներում պաշտպանական գերատեսչության ղեկավարը եղել է սահմանագծում տեղակայված մարտական հենակետերում, ստուգել պաշտպանական և ինժեներական կառույցների հուսալիությունը: Սեյրան Օհանյանը զրուցել է դիրքապահ զինծառայողների հետ, ծանոթացել նրանց պատրաստությանը և բարոյահոգեբանական վիճակին: Զրույցի ընթացքում նախարարն ընդգծել է, որ սահմանային հատվածում կառուցվել են օրինակելի պաշտպանական, ամրաշինական կառույցներ և հենակետեր:
Այնուհետև Սեյրան Օհանյանը եղել է հյուսիսարևելյան սահմանները պաշտպանող զորամասում, այցելել հրաձգարան, որտեղ նույնպես ընթանում են կառուցապատման և շինարարական աշխատանքներ:
Այցի շրջանակներում պաշտպանական գերատեսչության ղեկավարը հանդիպումներ է ունեցել նաև սահմանամերձ Չինարի և Արծվաբերդ գյուղերի բնակչության հետ, լսել նրանց հուզող և մտահոգող հարցերը: Հանդիպման ավարտին Չինարի գյուղի դպրոցի աշակերտները նախարարին հանձնել են իրենց կողմից գրված շնորհակալագրերն ու բարեմաղթանքները, որոնցում նրանք կարևորել են ուժեղ պետության, ուժեղ բանակի և ուժեղ զինվորի դերն ու նշանակությունն ու շնորհակալություն հայտնել ազգային բանակի զինվորին՝ երկրի սահմաններն անառիկ պահելու համար:

I agree with you , but aren't there deaths in our army too ? I can confirm that the dedovschina situation in Armenian Army has improved, as told to me by various family friends who have served. The conditions are nowhere near as terrible as in the enemy's army. A big difference between us and them is that Azeris do not value Azeri life.

One more Azerbaijani soldier dies

Baku-APA. Azerbaijani Army lost one more soldier. APA reports that the incident was recorded in Shamkir military formation’s military unit situated in Gazakh region.

Soldier Bahruz Seydulla Rahimov died as a result of fire opened from the service gun of his comrade-in-arms.According to information, the incident occurred during cleaning the submachine gun. Rahimov died as a result of fire opened through negligence.

Defense Ministry’s press service confirmed the fact to APA.

Rahimov was drafted from Masalli region.
