This is ridiculous. All they have to do is force down and search a plane and that country's reputation is instantly tainted.

It's not true. The plane was not forced.
It was an agreement between Armenia and Turkey before even the flight . Armenia asked to use turkey's air , turkey agreed but with one condition : check the airplane.
Everything was planned , nothing bad here.

Girly "solders" are are a real pain in the ass. Transfer them to the Armenian Navy where they belong.

Was in a training invironement, not a genuine combat invironement.
To question her skill,commitment,training,ability,sincerity or reason for being in the military because of a modest display of femininity in a known non combat situation is in my opinion to underestimate her.
A cardinal rule in fighting --- never underestimate your opponent --- .
I am going to assume(safely assume) come crunch time finger nail polish(varnish) and make-up would not enter the mind of that soldier of RA.
Again I am going to assume of my compatriot that upon orders or demand of time -- SHE -- would march into the jaws of death.
And yes, she is a "smashing" lady.
