Our videos on the front line do not really show much either. They are usually just shots of our soldiers either receiving awards or aiming their guns at the other side. The difference is that I think Armenia is trying to be more transparent on the front line as part of its efforts to combat corruption and to create more of a bond between the population and the front line soldiers by showing their day to day lives.

Looks like a good weapon to have for our special forces....would it have good applications in open war carried by say one member of a platoon? It sure can't hurt che (400 m range)

Eldar Sabiroghlu: “We are targeting an Armenian facility, which we can hit within a few minutes

                    [ 30 Oct 2012 16:44 ]
Terter. Rashad Suleymanov-APA. “Azerbaijan’s Armed Forces are capable of protecting its strategic facilities.

Our radar system immediately detects the missile launched by the enemy. We can render it harmless instantly. We are targeting an Armenian facility, which we can hit within a few minutes. This casts doubt upon the fate of Armenia as a state,” spokesman for Defense Ministry, Colonel Eldar Sabiroghlu said at the press conference on the frontline in Terter, APA reports.

Eldar Sabiroghlu said Azerbaijan has military attachés and representatives in 21 countries, military cooperation with 53 countries, the personnel of the armed forces are in line with NATO standards.

“The military higher school has developed so much that persons from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are studying here. Several other countries have applied for education. The officers of our armed forces are serving at NATO missions as NATO officers. Their number is increasing. The officer of Azerbaijani Naval Forces will be sent to the headquarters of the Naval Forces in Norfolk, UK. Preparations are underway,” he said.
It seems that they are really living in a dream world. There is one thing that no nation will do during a war is attack an NPP, because attacking one is coming close to using atomic weapons. In the history of this planet only once there has been made use of an atomic weapon. To attack an NPP would mean to tell the whole world to go xxxx themselves. Every nation, except Turkey and Pakistan, would join the Armenian cause in matter of hours. The West would drop them so hard it is not even funny. Azerbaijan knows all of this and will do everything but attack our NPP.

Attack on Armenia proper is also very unlikely. There are many reasons for that. One of them is that it would give Russia a card-blanch to do as they please. An attack on Armenia is an attack on Russia. They can attack Artsakh and maybe get away with it but it is totally different when we are talking about Armenia. Attacking Armenia will also give Armenia the strategical option to attack and occupy Nakhijevan and Turkey will never allow Azerbaijan to do something foolish as that.

The US and Russia have stated many times that the side that starts the war is the one that is going to lose the war. The status-quo in the Caucasus is in the best interest of Russia and the US. It has kept oil following for almost 20 years and when a war starts the oil flow will stop as well. Because the Azeris were dumb enough to build their pipeline a few kilometres from the front line. We only need to take out that to cripple their economy until the end of the war, we do not need to attack any other infrastructure.

Will Azerbaijan attack anytime soon? No, because Alijev knows that attacking Artsakh is too much of a gamble and he can end up losing everything. And if he wins he won't have the Armenians to use as a boogeyman.
