              Defense Ministry’s helicopter crashed in Azerbaijan, three supposedly dead - UPDATED

              Baku. Hafiz Heydarov - APA. The military helicopter that crashed in Azerbaijan is owned by the Defense Ministry, military sources told APA.

              The helicopter owned by the Defense Ministry’s Military Air Forces was flying to Kurdamir region. Three persons were on board the helicopter. All of them are supposedly dead. The rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are carrying out searches.

              Baku. Hafiz Heydarov-APA. A military helicopter crashed in Azerbaijan. APA reports that the accident happened today. The helicopter owned by the Military Air Forces crashed into the Caspian Sea. The details of the accident are being investigated.

                Baku – APA. Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry has issued a statement on the military helicopter crash.

                The Defense Ministry’s press service told APA that a helicopter owned by Military Air Forces crashed into Shikhov beach at 10.30 today.

                Currently, rescue works are being carried out. Additional information on the accident will be given.

                  Helicopter that crashed in Azerbaijan turned out to be air ambulance helicopter

                  Baku. Rashad Suleymanov - APA. The helicopter that crashed at “Shikhov” beach near Baku has turned out to be air ambulance helicopter of the Azerbaijani Army.

                  APA reports that the helicopter was flying from Baku to Kurdamir for ill soldiers.

                  The Defense Ministry’s press service told APA that a helicopter owned by Military Air Forces crashed into Shikhov beach at 10.30 today after disappearing from radars. Currently, rescue works are being carried out.

                  Three persons were on board the helicopter. APA’s correspondent reports from the site that ships and boats, as well as helicopters of the Military Air Forces and the Ministry of Emergency Situations are carrying out searches.

                    Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. The servicemen, who died in military helicopter crash in Azerbaijan, have been named.

                    Military sources told APA that three persons were on board Mi-17 helicopter that crashed into the Caspian Sea. They were pilot Yashar Ahmadov, mechanics Bahruz Zeynalov and Rustam Rustamov.

                    Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations sent to the site have already pulled Rustam Rustamov’s body out of the water. Currently, the search of other persons is being continued.

                    A helicopter owned by Military Air Forces crashed into Shikhov beach at 10.30 today after disappearing from radars.
