Just took a look at the English Wiki on Armenian Army....It seems like its old or complete BS. Is it accurate?

I definitely would not mind seeing that. In a struggle between Serzh, Dodi Gago, and Raffi, in the range of people who barely fought in the war to people who never touched a gun, it would admirable to have someone who actually went through what is expected of ordinary people to go through.

Having fought in the war should not be a requirement to become president imo.

I agree. That's only a part of it. Overall he comes of as rather uncorrupted and honest in comparison to the rest of the political class in that country.

Yes indeed and it seems like he is the defence minister because there is nobody who can do that job as good as him, not because it's his ambition to be in power.

Most definitely. One of the few people in the Armenian government who is doing a job because he is the best at it, not because of who he is or where he wants to get to.

I agree as well, he does not comes off as a corrupt politician at all! And I think they he delivers his speeches is rather more straight forward and , I suppose you could say moderate. I think he would be able to handle affairs with much more proficiency than Serzh. (Who handled the Khojaly incident terribly and made us sound like blood thirsty killers. Thank goodness for the Power at the expense of Lives Documentary) I do believe that he should step it up a little as Defense Minister before Serzh term is over, I do believe men like him might be key to Armenia's future.
