Karabakh Armenians are the best soldiers of region

The site of WikiLeaks began publishing The Global Intelligence Files, secret e-mails from the Texas headquartered "global intelligence" company Stratfor, which contain interesting information about the Nagorno-Karabakh.

In particular the Senior Eurasia Analyst of Stratfor Lauren Goodrich reports in the letter written on 23 of February 2011 about his travel to Nagorno Karabakh.

“The Karabakh Armenians are incredibly fierce fighters, perhaps the best in the region,” he writes.

Then Goodrich notes that Nagorno Karabakh is very nice place.

“It is beautiful, fertile, the roads and hotels are well built, there are churches on nearly every corner, crime is low,” the letter reads.

He also notes that signs in Nagorno-Karabakh are in both Karabakh-Armenian and Russian. The language between Karabakh-Armenian and regular Armenian is different, he notices.

Well said by DF Hacobyan......peacekeepers must never be allowed in Artsakh especially when they will never be needed and cause more problem for NKR Army.

Also Artsakh is the most peaceful place on earth and every citizen is a peacekeeper.

CSTO Deputy Secretary General highly appreciates combat readiness of Armenian troops

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian troops involved in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) have been trained well and they are familiar with the military activities and deserve highest assessment. The CSTO Deputy Secretary General Valery Semerikov stated this responding the question addressed by “Armenpress” News Agency at the course of “Yerevan-Moscow-Astana” television space bridge held on December 26. Among other things the Deputy Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Valery Semerikov underscored that the combat readiness of the Armenian troops and peacekeeping forces participating in the trainings held within the framework of the CSTO is “very high”.

The Collective Security Treaty Organization is an intergovernmental military alliance which was signed on 15 May 1992. On 7 October 2002, the Presidents of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan signed a charter in Tashkent founding the CSTO.

Nikolai Bordyuzha was appointed secretary general of the new organization. On 23 June 2006, Uzbekistan became a full participant in the CSTO; and its membership was formally ratified by the Uzbek parliament on 28 March 2008. It suspended its membership in 2012. The CSTO is currently an observer organisation at the United Nations General Assembly.

Չինաստանի կատարած պաշտոնական այցի շրջանակներում ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանի գլխավորած պատվիրակությունը դեկտեմբերի 26-ին հանդիպումներ է ունեցել ՉԺՀ կենտրոնական ռազմական խորհրդի նախագահի տեղակալ, գեներալ-գնդապետ Սույ Ցիլյանի և ՉԺՀ պաշտպանության նախարար, գեներալ-գնդապետ Չան Վանցյուանի հետ:

Բանակցությունների ընթացքում քննարկվել են հայ-չինական պաշտպանական համագործակցության հետագա զարգացման ուղիները:

Մասնավորապես, քննարկվել են ռազմական կրթության, բժշկության, մարտական պատրաստության, ինչպես նաև ռազմատեխնիկական համագործակցության զարգացման հեռանկարները:

Երկու պետությունների պաշտպանական գերատեսչությունների ղեկավարներն ստորագրել են Հայաստանի Հանրապետությանը Չինաստանի կողմից անհատույց տրամադրվող ամենամյա ռազմական օգնության վերաբերյալ համաձայնագիրը` 5 միլիոն չինական յուանի (շուրջ 823 հազար ԱՄՆ դոլար) չափով:
