- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or

for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

For anyone that thinks the Armenians are exaggerating and the Azeris are telling the truth (more Azeri casualties to follow):

Azeri Defense Ministry: One Azeri serviceman dead, another wounded

Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry has issued official reports on two army incidents.

According to the first report, Khagani Huseynov, 19, received a gunshot wound as a result of “careless handling of firearms” and was hospitalized. The second report said that serviceman Akper Aliyev died “of heart failure.”

Following the January 20 Azeri subversive act, Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry began issuing official reports about army incidents. 4 Azeri servicemen were reported injured on January 21.

      4 injuries reported by Azerbaijan

A day after the foiled Azeri subversion, Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry issued statements about two frontier incidents.

According to the first statement, Royal Huseynov, 19, “received a gunshot wound in his leg as a result of safety rules violation” at a frontline military unit. The second statement said that “3 servicemen were injured in an army truck crash near the frontier and were transported to a military hospital.”

As a rule, on the days following Azeri subversion acts, Azerbaijan denies the fact of subversion and issues official reports about deaths or injuries of servicemen caused by “suicide, violation of safety rules, illness or car crash.”

      Armenian Forces Kill Azerbaijani Officer

Armenian troops Thursday killed an Azerbaijani soldier in the latest in a week of tit-for-tat clashes over the disputed region of Nagorny Karabakh, Azerbaijan's defense ministry said.

Captain Elnur Jafarov was killed "as a result of a violation of the ceasefire by the Armenian side" along the volatile frontline in the southwestern Tatar region, some 270 kilometers (160 miles) from the Azerbaijani capital Baku, the defense ministry said.

"Jafarov was shot dead by a sniper while carrying out his duties," the ministry said in a statement.

The shooting follows a spate of raids by both sides over the past week that left at least one soldier from the breakaway region's armed forces dead.

Armenia-backed separatists seized Nagorny Karabakh from Azerbaijan in a 1990s war that killed 30,000 people. Despite years of negotiations since a 1994 ceasefire, the two sides have yet to sign a peace deal.

Azerbaijan has threatened to take back the disputed region by force if negotiations do not yield results, while Armenia has vowed to retaliate against any military action.

Around 20 soldiers from both the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides were reportedly killed last year.

      SourceAgence France Presse

The unsuccessful attacks of Azerbaijani reconnaissance-subversive groups on the night of January 20 left seven Azerbaijani servicemen dead: 4 saboteurs were killed in the Jraberd direction, another 3 in the Hadrut direction, Director of Voskanapat Analytical Center, political scientist Levon Melik-Shahnazarian told reporters today.

“Azerbaijan’s claims that they did not suffer losses are not true. Seven were killed and 20-30 wounded. On the Armenian side, Junior Sergeant Armen Hovhannisian was shot dead, no one was injured,” L. Melik-Shahnazarian said.

“We dealt with a special group. Our servicemen were conscripts. At one of our posts, nine Armenian soldiers destroyed a whole subversive group, which bears evidence of their excellent combat training,” he said.

According to L. Melik-Shahnazarian, the bodies of two Azerbaijani saboteurs are still in the neutral territory. ‘They are afraid of collecting the bodies of their soldiers, while we don’t need them,” he noted.

One way to get reinforcement quickly at the site of intrusion would be to have an airforce "quick reactionary force" of special forces dispatched with helicopters....no need to land either.
I hear ya, but a standby 24/7 airforce is too expensive for Armenia, i doubt its doable, besides we dont have good forward bases for helicopers and fighters in Artsakh.
Azeris know our weakness is the night, since the conscripts dont have nightsight.

Yes, both you & Federate are correct.
Our soldiers & military did an exceptional job.
Guess I lapsed into wishful thinking, but could not have wished for more from our troops.

You don't really need a major base of operation.....a helipad and a small hanger with a mechanic will do (one or two choppers)....the flight crew and the soldiers can be rotation duty (few days to few weeks) and can fly surveillance missions (flightcrew) and the soldiers can use down time to hone their skills even more in these heli drop/extraction operations by testing themselves.

We ARE at war, just because their is a supposed ceasefire does not mean you let your guards down brother, nothing is changed except we have gotten stronger and they are still the same freaking enemy baboons......at war you must be ready/stand by 24/7 to deny the enemy any kills.

                    So reasonable.
No denying we are actually in a war time situation.
Heli pad, small hanger. Man, just makes too much sense.
To be 10/15 miles back is nothing for a helicopter to cover, while still being in safe, hidden place.
4,6,8 of these along border gives real time troop support.
Can't help but wonder about gago's Disneyland church cost & what could have been done on eddo's idea instead.
The very terrain of Artsahk screams helicopter spots like eddo speaks of above.
