Since we wont be seeing too much tank battles in a future war...since it would be suicide to send a tank into Artsakh. I believe we will definitely see their Otokar Cobras operating in the mountains. Does anyone know how our NSVs would fair when piercing that armor? And their MRAPs, it would be stupid to use konkurs or any ATGM on a light armored vehicle like MRAPs. How would an RPG of any kind fair against that?

Artashes, I was joking..Apparently it wasnt obvious. Probably because I didnt spam these things:

And whats wrong with Kazakhstan and Krygz? What have they done?

Where does the Turkic Stan's sentiment lay, with turcee or us?

Forgot to say that's a Russian thing. Neither of those countries would have offered to stand with us on their own initiative.
Stand in solidarity with turcee, ya, but not us.

I think it were the otocars right in 2008 Georgian war that failed miserably against BTR's? I remember seing a trophy otocar in Russian video where a single 50 cal bullet had penetrated from rear, gone killing two troops, driver and busted dash inside. An RPG will mince it to pulp. Turks made it to be used against Kurdish peshmergas in mountainous guerrilla chase and recon situations, Where distances of engagement is not very close. They will not fair well in regular heavy mountainous combat with heavy weaponry involved.

U.S. doesn’t authorize to sell equipment withdrawn from Afghanistan in Azerbaijan

                [ 18 August 2014 18:18 ]
Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. The U.S. side has declined Azerbaijan’s recent request on buying Cougar and HMMWV military vehicles withdrawn from Afghanistan, military sources told APA.

It was expected that the mentioned military vehicles would be given to the inventory of the peacekeeping brigade of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, but the U.S. has declined to sell these vehicles to Azerbaijan. Such a decision from the opposite side was explained as Washington’s embargo on sale of weapons and military equipment to conflicting countries.

Note that, the U.S. stated last year that it would put on sale a large portion of the military equipment involved in the inventory of its troops withdrawn from Afghanistan, adding that during the sale it would favor countries which had actively involved in peacekeeping operations.

Azerbaijan will equip the brigade envisaged for peacekeeping operations with local production Matador and Marauder mine-protected vehicles and Turkish-produced Cobra armored vehicles.

It should be mentioned that the U.S. says it doesn’t sell weapons and military equipment to conflicting countries, but it sold over 10 Cougars and nearly 100 HMMWVs to Georgia in the last few years.
