Այսօր՝ մարտի 19-ին՝ ժամը 08:30-ի սահմաններում, հակառակորդի հատուկ նշանակության ջոկատի ուժեղացված խումբը հարձակվել է հյուսիսային (Գյուլիստանի) ուղղությամբ տեղակայված դիրքերի վրա: Այս մասին հայտնում է ՊԲ մամուլի ծառայությունը։

Ինչպես նշվում է հաղորդագրության մեջ, շուրջ երկու ժամ տևած մարտի արդյունքում դիրքապահ անձնակազմը և օգնության հասած ուժերը ստիպել են հակառակորդին նահանջել, հետապնդելով ամբողջությամբ ոչնչացրել են խմբին՝ իրենց դիրքերի մատույցներում։

Հակառակորդին դիմագրավելու ժամանակ արիաբար զոհվել են ՊԲ զինծառայողներ Հակոբ Գագիկի Խաչատրյանը (1996թ.), Էդուարդ Գագիկի Հայրապետյանը (1995թ.) և Արշակ Կարենի Հարությունյանը (1995թ.), ևս 4 զինծառայողներ վիրավորվել են:

ՊԲ-ն կիսում է կորստյան ծանր վիշտը և իր զորակցությունը հայտնում զոհված զինծառայողների ընտանիքների անդամներին, հարազատներին և ծառայակիցներին:

Karabakh Defense Ministry reports that privates of the NKR Defense Army Hakob Khachatryan (born in 1996), Edward Hayrapetyan (born in 1995) and Arshak Harutyunyan (born in 1995) were killed, as a group of Azerbaijani special forces attacked the Armenian positions in the northern direction of the line of contact (Gyulistan).

The Ministry said another four soldiers were wounded in the attack at about 08:30 a.m. this morning.

After a two-hour long fight the Armenian side made the rival retreat, haunted the Azeri soldiers and destroyed the group close to its military positions.

The Artsakh Defense Army (ADA) reports that three of its soldiers were killed and four wounded during a two hour firefight to repulse an Azerbaijani incursion this morning in the direction of Gyulistan.

The ADA claims that the Azerbaijani unit was routed and eventually wiped out as Armenian troops pursued the unit back to its base.

The three dead Armenian soldiers have been identified as Hakob Khachatryan, Edward Hayrapetyan and Arshak Harutyunyan.

Not yet. The ArmeniaNow story in the link below claims that the Armenians are going to release evidence of the Azeri retreat and the liquidation of the attackers and the article Spetsnaz posted above claims the Azeris lost at least 12 dead but we'll see. I still don't understand how there is not 24-7 vigilance on the border. I realize the frontline is extensive but by using shifts and keeping troops fresh (and utilizing night vision, which I assume Armenian forces have) eyes should be open at all times. Something is amiss. Should we question the commanding officers? The Azeris are going to continually attack, try and make incursions, lose men, etc- this seems the only thing they can do and it is no mystery, we know this. Why are the Armenians losing any men?

Fighting in Gulistan. There is a loss

Second day remains tense situation on the border of Martakert and temporarily occupied by Azerbaijan Shahumyan region of the Artsakh Republic. Voskanapat.info, citing its own sources, said some of the details which led to casualties on both sides of the morning clashes.

On the morning of March 19 at 8:30 am, a large reconnaissance and sabotage group of the enemy, consisting of about 25 askers, attacked militant positions Artsakh Republic Defense Army near the village of Gulistan Shahumyan region. Began a fierce battle that killed three Armenian soldiers. Four more were injured.
