Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Here's the Azeri spin on it

Armenian soldier voluntarily surrenders to Azerbaijani Army

    [ 23 March 2015 10:42 ]
Baku - APA. A soldier of the Armenian Armed Forces crossed to the territory controlled by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and surrendered to the Army at about 13:50 on March 22, APA reports quoting news.am.

The soldier who voluntarily surrendered to the Army is military contractor Andranik Araratovich Grigoryan, born in 1991.

The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry confirmed the fact to APA.

The Ministry says this is probably due to the tension, fear and panic in the Armenian Army.

The information will soon be publicly available.

Video showing Armenian soldier crossing into Azerbaijani side doesn't correspond to reality

The video showing a soldier of the Defense Army of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic crossing the border and disseminated by Azerbaijani mass media outlets is another brilliant example of its violation of all norms of international humanitarian law provided for corresponding cases and shows the imagination of the Azerbaijan propaganda. This is stated in the press release issued by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, as "Armenpress" reports.

"First, let us mention that the moment of crossing into the side of the opponent is completely staged and doesn't correspond to reality. With that the opponent has tried to show that its personnel was at the scene at the moment and had control over the situation, but, as a rule, the guards of the opponent weren't at the positions. It's clear that the video has helped the opponent make a failed attempt to increase the role of its guards. Another conviction is that taping at that moment on the frontline would be impossible because the Armenian guards would immediately strike anyone who made such an attempt. As far as the interrogation is concerned, the video clearly shows that the soldier was first subject to violence on the part of the opponent, the traces of which are presented as a reason for the soldier to leave the position, and expresses ideas that were served and ready made in a primitive way. It is also clear that all the thoughts expressed and the "information" provided by the Armenian soldier in the video are false, don't correspond to reality and were done under provocations."

Azerbaijani media outlets have disseminated videos showing an Armenian soldier saying why he crossed into the opponent's side. He also speaks about another soldier, Mkrtumyan, who had also wanted to cross the border. Press speaker of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Artsrun Hovhannisyan mentioned that there are special bodies that will examine the issue related to the second soldier.

STEPANAKERT, 23 MARCH, ARMENPRESS. The video showing a soldier of the Defense Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic crossing the border and disseminated by Azerbaijani mass media outlets is another brilliant example of the violation of all norms of international humanitarian law provided for corresponding cases and shows the imagination of the Azerbaijan propaganda.

Lmfaooooo funniest joke in a while

Azerbaijani Defense Minister: “We’ll destroy 70% of enemy in the first attack” - PHOTOSESSION

                PHOTOSESSION
                [ 23 March 2015 17:48 ]
“The enemy must not be calm, live under fear in our occupied territories. Our lands must be liberated, revenge of our martyrs must be taken”

Baku – APA. Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov and top officials of the ministry have visited the military units in the regions on the frontline.

According to website of the Ministry, the Minister, joining Novruz celebration in the military units has congratulated the personnel on the Novruz Holiday.

Speaking about the situation on the frontline, the minister said the enemy is in the panic: “We strike such blows to them that they are afraid. They don’t want to serve on the frontline and leave the trenches. They are obliged to deploy the civilians to the posts. We must withdraw the invaders from our lands. We are able to do that and will do.

Supreme Commander-in-Chief does his best to strengthen the army. Our nation is hero, we have brave sons and we must liberate our lands fighting more bravely and courageous. That days is already close to us. Or Armed Forces become stronger day-by-day, new weapons and equipments are purchased.

I'm clearly saying that we’ll destroy 70% of enemy in the first attack. We have many weapons and equipments that if we strike blow to Armenia they will not be able to revive for hundreds of years. Armenians must understand it and leave our lands voluntarily.

Every serviceman of Armed Forces must destroy enemy by seizing any occasion day and night. The enemy must not be convenient, live under fear in our occupied territories. Our lands must be liberated, revenge of our martyrs must be taken”.

Now the time has come. We’ll liberate our lands in a short-run. You watched the speech made Supreme Commander-in-Chief on the occasion of Novruz Holiday. The President said that we’ll return to our historical lands. We’ll return to Irevan, Zangazur, Shusha, Khankendi. This will absolutely happen and there can be no doubt. I again congratulate you on Novruz holiday, wish you health and victory. I wish us to mark this Victory Day soon”.

The officials of the ministry have also visited military hospital on the frontline, met with medical personnel and presented holiday gifts to the servicemen.

Thats not very hard to stage, just need an open grassy field, and record him walking towards you with a bed sheet.

Do they think people are really this stupid?

You can get a POW to say anything these days just to make you stop hitting him. The Donetsk separatists do a better job at interviewing POWs than these donkeys. Its quite sad, a bunch of redneck Ukrainian separatists actually interview POWs in front of dozens of journalists while these idiots stage a surrendering, beat the xxxx out of him, and interview him in a closet.

I am glad he made that statement.

It makes me more relaxed about the situation because we are dealing with buffoons.

How did this idiot calculate 70%.

For good measure he quotes master baffoon about Irevan.
