40 percent of Azerbaijani territory will be destroyed in the first days of the war

Express Comment head of the Analytical Center "Voskanapat" Levon Melik-Shahnazaryan

"40 percent of Azerbaijan will be destroyed in the first two - three weeks after the formation of the possible aggression against the Republic of Artsakh," - said Levon Melik-Shahnazaryan, commenting on the statement by the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan Zakir Hasanov. Voskanapat.info recalls that on March 23, being in the border areas of the Republic of Artsakh, Z. Hasanov tried to inspire boastful and false statements of their subordinates frightened heavy losses. Azerbaijani Defense Minister told the ordinary askerne and officers of the mythical features of Azerbaijani Armed Forces: "We put them (the Armenian military units - Voskanapat.info) such blows that they frightened, fleeing. They do not want to serve on the front, running away, throwing trenches. Now, the enemy must be placed in the positions of civilians. We must expel the invaders from their lands. We can do it, and we will do it. I openly declare that we will destroy 70% of the enemy forces from the first blow. "

"Zakir Hasanov - intellectually limited martinet with thinking preneandertaltsa - Azikhantrop without the upper jaw," - said Levon Melik-Shahnazaryan. Armenian political scientist says that Hasanov said not afford not only the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, but even the two strongest armies of the world - Russia and the United States. He recalled a few years ago a high-ranking officer in the Pentagon revealed that a hypothetical clash with the Defense Army of the Artsakh Republic would bring the US military a lot of inconvenience.

"Azerbaijan has so assiduously invent stories about the Armenian state and the Armenian Army, so earnestly tell those stories that seem like Molla Nasreddin, and themselves begin to believe their own tales - laughing Levon Melik-Shahnazaryan. - During the aggravation of the situation on the border in August last year, thousands of young people, as well as veterans of the Artsakh war rushed to the border, demanding to send them to the combat zone. Then our army command took a lot of eloquence to persuade them to return to their homes. Command volunteers assured that the Army is able to cope with honor its tasks. I remembered it in connection with the application of Z. Hasanov "placed in the positions of civil" in Artsakh. Perhaps, some of the mob Azerbaijan believe in bikes Hasanov, more befitting the son turetskopoddannogo Ostap Bender, but most have openly laughs at the "commander", the worst enemy of which to this day are only hungry and sick old woman at Fountain Square in Baku. There Hasanov really looked eagle. In fact, he - chicken, plucked in January, May, June, August and November last year, "- said Levon Melik-Shahnazaryan, recalling that in June last year Armenian fighters returned under the control of the Republic of Armenia over 200 square kilometers of the Armenian land.

Answering the question - Why Armenian army will destroy 40 percent of the Azerbaijan Republic, and not 70 or 100 for example? - Levon Melik-Shahnazaryan recalled that the Republic of Azerbaijan live real and potential friends of the Armenian people - indigenous population of this republic. Whatever the course of the development of military events (if Azerbaijan decides to suicidal aggression against one of the Armenian states), the Armenian army will not be beat on Lancon, for example, or city KtsIar, Belokany. In these and other (Khachmas, Ostoro, Vartashen, Bilkona), "tabuirovnnyh" militarily settlements live Talysh, Lezgins, Avars, with whom we are fighting not for centuries, ever since, both in our region migrated Turks. It is undesirable to take the sight and most of the villages on the Absheron Peninsula, populated parsiytsami (tatami). But here's towns and villages in which they live Caucasian Turks will certainly be wiped out. Azerbaijan can be assured us these regions and cities, and they, according to rough estimates, account for 40 percent of the Baku-controlled areas, are well known.

Inevitably undergo shock and oil and gas fields in Azerbaijan. Pipes touch does not make sense for two reasons: first, they can be quickly restored, and, secondly, they still serve as Artsakh, replenishing its coffers pay for the transit of hydrocarbons. But the field will be eliminated on the first day, turning Baku into a huge funeral pyre for education under the name "Azerbaijan".

Yes, I know, of course, about the military acquisitions Azerbaijan, including Russian and Israeli air defense systems. Baku sometimes even claims that it acquired systems are capable of completely darkened the skies over the capital of Azerbaijan. This is - funny and stupid statements, designed for illiterate rednecks Azerbaijan. Israel, like Russia, Azerbaijan sold really modern means of defense, and this weapon is really high quality. In this case, the weapon of the highest quality, these countries have left for their own use, and does not sell, it is quite logical.

And now let's remember how homemade Qassam rocket reaches the Israeli cities. So, in 2011, the Israeli air defense system intercepted 16 of 185 rockets fired by Palestinians. In 2012, the missile was intercepted 421 of 1506 issued. Remember, we are talking about the best examples of the Israeli defense and home-made rockets, in fact, pipes filled with explosives. Now, I think, any more or less thinking person can imagine the efficiency of the Azerbaijani defense to intercept missiles in service with the Armenian army. The power of each missile that exploded within the boundaries of oil and gas field, will increase by tens and hundreds of times, besides causing fires, the repayment of which will take months and years to come. And to imagine that these missiles can mess things up, I remind you that the oil and gas fields of Azerbaijan are not only in the Caspian Sea, but within the boundaries of Baku.

Today, in my opinion, we should get out of the negotiation process, agreeing to resume them only if they participate on equal terms in Stepanakert. At the same time we must prepare for the political component of reflection possible aggression of Azerbaijan. It is a political as well as militarily we have one problem - the elimination of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and our Army, as far as I know, to solve this problem is ready, "- said in the conclusion of Levon Melik-Shahnazaryan.

          a Quite interesting article

Artsakh war hero warns of possible Azeri provocations ahead of April 24
          March 24, 2015 - 17:56 AMT
PanARMENIAN.Net - Major-General Arkady Ter-Tadevosyan (Comandos) warned of large-scale provocations, commenting on the latest border incidents, Tert.am reports.
“With Armenia marking the Genocide centennial this year, Turkey’s working in three directions: culture, propaganda and diplomacy, as Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said,” he noted.
According to him, Turkey has left “the military component” to Azerbaijan, the fact being the reason for growing tensions this year.
“No war will break out, but we should expect large-scale provocations in all the sectors. And civilians will be targeted as well,” Ter-Tadevosyan said.
He believes that Turkey will stop its provocations by late April. “Azerbaijan cannot succeed,” he noted.
Asked about possible losses should large-scale hostilities break out, Tadevosyan said: “Given the arsenal at both the sides’ disposal, both are expected to suffer serious human losses. Geographically, however, 100 missiles launched in Artsakh’s direction will be less effective than ten missiles launched in the direction of Azerbaijan.”

Azerbaijani Defense Ministry: Armenians use mortars on front line
            [ 24 March 2015 14:59 ]
“If the enemy’s provocations continue further, retaliatory acts will be even sterner and large-scale, and its losses will become a new tragedy for the Armenian people”

Baku. Agha Jafarli – APA. Having recently suffered failures and heavy casualties on the front line, Armenian armed forces have violated the ceasefire regime, this time using 60 and 82-mm mortar launchers and large-caliber machine guns in order to aggravate the situation on the contact line of troops.

The Azerbaijani side retaliated against the enemy by pounding Armenian military targets in the trenches and outposts with larger-caliber weapons, the Defense Ministry told APA.

The ministry also warned that if the enemy’s provocations continue further, retaliatory acts will be even sterner and large-scale, and its losses will become a new tragedy for the Armenian people.

The statement also says there are no casualties on the Azerbaijani side: “The operational conditions along the entire front line is under the complete control of the Azerbaijani armed units”.

MRAPs are used for asymmetrical warfare, they are largely useless in a war with a formal military. They can be used to evacuate personnel especially wounded but they are worse than your average BTR-80. Ukrainians purcahsed British Saxon early MRAPs, for this purpose. They were smart enough not to use them in combat.

Agreed. The US sent a bunch of MRAPs to Iraq because of the nature of that war with mixed results. Can't imagine South African Matador and Marauder would be any better.

Speaking of Ukraine's Saxons, enjoy this clip of the British Saxon proving it is sh!t placed on wheels. Soviet BRDM manages to climb a small hill that Saxon gets stuck at.
