Agreed, we definitely need to boost our military production. Stuff like this will need factories, which would boost the employment rate.

exactly, its a win/win situation and that's a great point you touched upon, its an economic and military boost.i just wonder why we stopped its production,it looks like the project has been abandoned for a long time since both serj and yuri khachatorov look very different than now

There's always the possibility of keeping it a secret from the media, but yeah this needs some production. Look at the U.S in the 40s. Military production created millions of jobs, which pulled it out of the Great Depression

Armenia doesn't need armored cars, UAZs will do.

Armenia needs to now, thanks to Iskander acquisition, redirect focus to infantry standards, strategic reforms, heavy armored vehicles like tanks, and acquiring light attack aircraft like the Yak-130.

This vehicle is largely useless in a conventional war, alot like Azeri MRAPs.
Armenian colony of Glendale will conquer all of California!

Armenia doesn't have the Iskandar, not according to any public statement
the only statement has been from an anonymous source saying theyre deployed in Armenia, not clarifying whether its actually in Armenia's hands or on the Russian base. Almost certainly its Russia's

YEREVAN (RFE/RL) -- The Armenian military will soon acquire more long-range and precise missiles than it currently has in its arsenal, Defense Minister

That is two, very vague, but public statements from the President and Defense Minister.
I think we can assume that Armenia has acquired downgraded versions of Iskander. The government doesn't xxxxwave alot, and when they do I believe it is legitimate.

I thought that vehicle was an Armenian design, no?

It is, its probably an abandoned design because there was probably little need for it. If NKR becomes part of Armenia, blockade is lifted and relations are normalized, then I think Armenia should be interested in an international counter-terrorism role. This vehicle concept could be revived then, when there is no threat from an actual conventional army and Armenia can send troops to different hellholes on peacekeeping missions. What I am saying is, this vehicle can be used as a basis for an indigenous Armenian MRAP
