I know this is off topic, but we might have new threats coming towards us soon, specially because we are the closest ally of Russia whom ISIS is trying to pressure to ease on Syria,so I think keeping the police budget high is not a bad idea for now since we need to be alert in case of terrorist attacks.

ISIS Declares Caliphate in the Caucasus

The so-called Islamic State terrorist group, or ISIS, recently announced a new Caliphate, outlining its goal to take over several regions of Russia’s North Caucasus.

According to the report of the Institute for the Study of War (Washington D.C.), Abu Muhammad al-Adnani, a spokesman for the fundamentalist group, named Abu Mohammad al-Qadari the leader of the newly created entity and congratulated “the soldiers of the Islamic State” in the Caucasus.

According to the Deputy U.S. Secretary for Democracy and Human Rights Issues, Tom Malinowski, governments and citizens should fundamentally understand the possible threats.

“We would like to emphasize that governments should not tarnish human rights when combating terrorist groups. This is a bad policy of counter-terrorism,” Malinowski has told Voice of America adding “Georgia’s strategy needs to be the same as in the rest of the world, aimed at defeating terrorism.

The self-proclaimed Islamic State (ISIS) has launched active military campaigns in Syria and Iraq, and has claimed responsibility for several deadly terrorist attacks across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. Its membership comprises several different nationalities including some Georgians from the Pankisi Gorge area.

I made a thread on this topic already so feel free to discuss it there.

Actually this is more dangerous. they can build walls and attack from the same place. This doesn't give us any hints if they are ready or not. lets not forget how Aliev thinks. He thinks he is almighty.

I agree but won't be a problem for us to detect any mass storage of weapons or troops behind the walls,we have drones and radars which can control the situation and give us heads up

Moscow is arming many of its former Soviet allies as it looks to continue moves out of recession while also building up support against NATO.

Armenian parliament will hold an extraordinary session today.
Armenia may get Russia's cutting-edge missile complexes 'Iskander M' that are considered one of the best Russian inventions with quite high technical characteristics.
According to Oxu.Az, the statement came from Zhamanak newspaper, citing a source close to the ruling Republican party of Armenia.
The edition reminds that the parliamentary session will consider the ratification of the Russian-Armenian agreement on allocation to Armenia of a preferential loan worth USD 200mln for provision of Armenian armed forces with cutting-edge Russian weapon.
