Azerbaijan’s defense minister has stated that the Azerbaijani Armed Forces are capable of liberating the occupied lands in the near future.
Colonel General Zakir Hasanov said through heightened combat readiness, and increasing public confidence in Azerbaijan’s military capabilities, today, the Azerbaijani Army is ready to fulfill its task of liberating the occupied lands.
Hasanov made the remark speaking to the staff of the armed forces at the opening of the military unit on the frontline on July 1, where he became acquainted with the headquarters, the soldiers' dormitories and other facilities, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported.
Hasanov discussed the work carried out by the ministry to further improve the moral-psychological training of the troops, improve their social conditions, and strengthen the technical base.
He said this is more proof of the power of the Azerbaijani economy, manifested in the strength of the armed forces.
The minister noted that the Azerbaijani army becomes stronger and more disciplined with each passing day, as combat readiness increases. He added that the Azerbaijani Armed Forces are provided with the most modern military equipment, arms, and ammunition, thanks to the care and attention of the state.
For over two decades, Azerbaijan and Armenia have been locked in a conflict that emerged over Armenia's territorial claims against its South Caucasus neighbor. Since a war in the early 1990s, the Armenian armed forces have occupied 20 percent of Azerbaijan's territory, including Nagorno-Karabakh and seven surrounding regions.
A fragile ceasefire has been in place since 1994, but long-standing efforts by U.S., Russian and French mediators have been largely fruitless so far.

hahaha more disciplined? We'll see about that.

Strange how they use the word "liberate".
They stole literally all the land they occupy from the indigenous people by murdering them and inslavement.
It is the Armenians who have liberated --- OUR --- land from thieving murderers.

Russia in talks to supply Armenia with Iskander-M missiles

Russia is holding talks on supplies to Armenia of Iskander-M tactical missile systems, the contract has not been signed yet, a military source told TASS on Thursday, July 2.

"The contract has not been signed, talks are underway," the source said.

He underscored that "all information on such contracts is secret."

Earlier, Konstruktorskoye Byuro Mashinostroyeniya, or KBM (Machine-Building Design Bureau), which is the key manufacturer of Iskanders, said that the systems will not be exported until 2016. Nevertheless, they have been put on a list of products allowed to be sold abroad.

In particular, last year it was reported that Kazakhstan is interested in the export version of Iskanders. In June, the delegation of Saudi Arabia visited the Army-2015 forum in the Moscow Region to hold talks on acquisition of the systems.

Russia Offers Another Concession To Armenia: Advanced Ballistic Missiles
July 3, 2015 - 8:46am, by Joshua Kucera The Bug Pit Armenia Russia
Russia is negotiating with Armenia to supply the latter with advanced Iskander-M missiles, a potentially substantial boost to Armenian defenses against a potential Azerbaijani attack. News about the ongoing negotiations was leaked to both the Armenian and Russian press, and the timing of the leak suggests an effort to tamp down anti-Russian sentiment in ongoing street protests in Yerevan.

"The contract isn't signed yet, negotiations are still continuing," a source "in the military-technical cooperation sphere" told Russian news agency Tass. A source "close to the ruling Republican Party of Armenia" told the same thing to Armenian newspaper Zhamanak.

The missiles could be acquired under a $200 million loan for arms purchases that Russia offered to Armenia last week and which Armenia's parliament ratified in an extraordinary session on July 2. "We are going to acquire weaponry of a new type, which until now has not been seen in the Armenian armed forces," said Ara Nazarian, Armenia's deputy defense minister, in reference the loan.

That loan was part of a series of concessions that Russia made to Armenia, including ceding to Armenian jurisdiction the case of a Russian soldier who killed seven members of an Armenian family. The news of the Iskander-Ms would seem to be yet another element of this effort to appease Armenian public sentiment.

One of the organizers of the #ElectricYerevan protests is treating the news as such, arguing that the $200 million loan and the handover of the Russian soldier was "to the credit of the people"

This isn't necessarily news: last year, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanian hinted that Armenia was in talks to get the same kind of missiles from Russia, and that in “one or two years” Armenia would see big boosts in its military capacity. And talk is cheap, especially anonymous leaks at such a sensitive time in the bilateral relationship. So we'll see.

And Russia also has reportedly stationed Iskander-Ms at its base in Armenia, though obviously the missiles under Armenian control would give Yerevan the ability to use them however they saw fit; the missiles could be used to hit strategic infrastructure on Azerbaijan's coast if war broke out.

Azerbaijan hasn't officially reacted. However, an analysis on the website Trend says that the deal is likely to go through but calls it an "inexpensive sedative placebo" for the Armenian people. And it suggests that the move may be a means to get Azerbaijan to buy still more Russian weaponry: "Azerbaijan doesn’t need loans and can buy what it needs, thereby assisting Russia’s defense sphere with vital financial injections."

The European Youth Parliament (EYP), in order to organize illegal trips to the occupied Azerbaijani territories in flagrant violation of the norms and principles of international law, will launch a new project called “Study Trip to Artsakh Republic”, Azerbaijan Youth European Integration Organization (AGAT) told APA on July 3.

The Alumni Chapter of the European Youth Parliament – Armenia will implement the project called “Study Trip to Artsakh Republic” on August 22 – 26, 2015.
The event will gather around 100 participants.

Within the framework of the project, the participants plan to visit the parlimanet, and meet with the "prime minister" and "foreign minister" of the "Artsakh Republic". As a part of the project, panel discussions on governance specifics of non-recognized but de-facto independent states, concert in the central square, as well as visits to “ancient monasteries, castles and caves of Artsakh” will be arranged. The study trip include visits to Natural Wonders of Umbrellas, Rocky Lion, Churches of Gandzasar and Ghazanchetsots, Shusha mosque, Hunot canyon and farewell pool party in Hadrut and open air concert. The participants’ accommodation and food costs, transportation Yerevan-Stepanakert-Yerevan (Yerevan-Khankendi-Yerevan), tours, reception at Artsakh Parliament and breakfasts will be paid by the organizers of the tour programs. Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.

Lol, don't see how this article supports your argument that truth is subjective.
turcs are not indegenious to the area.any claim otherwise is propaganda to support their false claims.
It's not their truth and our truth, it's their propaganda opposed to us saying the truth ... any land the tatar turc occupies in that area was stolen from the original occupants by murdering them.
According to your definition of truth the scum turcs to the west portray "their truth" in describing the TEMORARY RELOCATION of the genocide victims as just and necessary .
---WRONG --- that's not their truth vs ours. That's their lies vs us (and others) stating the truth.
