Who the Kurds are and what they did, or what they are capable under right circumstances is a fact. But I don't see any benefit of letting a new state be our enemy even before it is born.
Haven't we got enough enemies?
What Kurds did as ethnic group under Turkish mentors controll can be totally different from what future leadership or general population of a country that is based on different geopolitical needs and aspirations will do.
Although I understand your point, wherever that shadow is cast is what determines what is under that shadow.

As far as the Kurds, i think it needs to be understood that there are different factions within the Kurds, and we need to best understand that to make the best of the situation. The Kurds in Turkey, as far as the PKK is concerned, are about as left wing as it gets, and this puts them far them far away from either Islamists or NATO. At this point it needs to be understood they represent a different entity that those who committed the Genocide.
--- they represent a different entity ---
Ok, as I said ... Not good for us to start fight with them and both turcs.
The entity we are talking about is kurds, and the goal that falls under that sad pasts shadow , and the goal of today are --- IDENTICLE ---
I know that's probably just a coincidence.
Ok, how about if we stop dancing and simply say ... We are not against your struggle with the turcs, but understand , when time is right we are coming back to claim what our murdered family had stolen.

.Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests

Twenty air defense units in CIS states put on high alert for Combat Commonwealth-2015 drills - Russian Defense Ministry (Part 2)
MOSCOW. Aug 18 (Interfax-AVN) - The first phase of the CIS Combat Commonwealth-2015 joint air defense exercises began on Tuesday, the Russian Defense Ministry has reported.
"At the start of the drills, units and divisions of the air defense and missile defense troops of the Aerospace Forces stationed in the Moscow region were put on high alert. The exercises will consist of three phases and will continue until September 11," the Russian ministry's press service said in a report seen by Interfax-AVN on Tuesday.
The first stage of the drills included measures to put the forces participating in the Combat Commonwealth-2015 maneuvers on high alert at their permanent bases.
"In this context, some 20 military units of the Armed Forces of the states taking part in the CIS Joint Air Defense System were put on high alert," the ministry said.
In total, the exercises will involve more than 1,000 servicemen and over 200 units of the Aerospace Force's military and special-purpose hardware, including S-400 Triumf surface-to-air missile systems, S-300 Favorit air defense missile systems, MiG-29, Sukhoi Su-24, Su-34, Su-27, Su-30, Su-25, MiG-31 and Tupolev Tu-22 airplanes, and Mil Mi-8AMTSh helicopters.
Apart from the Russian units, air defense force servicemen from another five CIS member countries - Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia - will take part in the drills.
"The other participants in the CIS Joint Air Defense System will participate in the exercises as observers," the ministry said.
The first phase of the drills will be wrapped up by redeploying personnel and military hardware of the countries involved in the maneuvers to the Ashuluk training range in Russia's southern Astrakhan region, which will host the active phase of the exercises.
The personnel and the hardware will reach the Ashuluk range using a combined method: by rail and by air.

That said, maybe Armenia can offer to host this same type of radar station on its soil if it covers the appropriate range that Russia wants by placing it in Azerbaijan.Last edited by Federate; 08-18-2015, 04:01 PM.Azerbaboon: 9.000 Google hits and counting!

Armenia PM: We’ll construct Iran-Armenia railway despite Russia’s stance

“We also have our own interests”
Baku. Turbet Baghirova – APA. Of course, the construction of Iran-Armenia railway may not be in the interests of our neighbors, but we must still construct it, Armenia’s PM Hovik Abrahamyan told Armenian News –NEWS.am, touching on the perspectives of Iran-Armenia railway and Russia’s stance over that issue.
In his words, Armenia and Russia are strategic allies and members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). “But we also have our own interests - the interests of our people and homeland – and I’m ready to discuss the issue with them as a partner,” Abrahamyan said.
Iran-Armenia railway has a very important strategic significance for Armenia and its economy, the PM said. “And we’ll do that, regardless of whether it offends anyone or is not in their interests. The fact is that the successful completion of the construction will contribute to the economic activation and development of business in our country,” Abrahamyan said.
