Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Probably except for the fact that you might be able to double the amount of equipment that the Armenians have because the NKR was not counted

So let me get this straight…..Russia sells S-300s to Azerbaijan so they can protect their oil fields from Armenia’s attacks by the ground-to-ground missiles that they plan to give us which still tips the balance more towards Azerbaijan so now they can justify increasing their military presence and influence in Armenia’s government affairs, and if a war starts (which they could indirectly spark it themselves) they can test their weapons on both sides at the expense of Armenian lives and when we win the war with our blood the world can claims that it was Russia that beat Azerbaijan for Armenia thus Russia takes the glory all the while increasing their grip on both countries and not allowing Armenia to grow more independent with now Russia in control of Artsakh which makes us stay even more dependent on Russia and to be used and controlled as a tool to further their interests (not ours) in the region.

That is fine, they wanna give S-300s to azeris that is their choice and shows their colors.....Armenia should demand the sell/finance of SU-34s (two squadrons minimum) with associated pilot and maintenance personnel training in Russia under the command and supervision of Armenian military aviation institute who will provide the pilots and technicians instead revising the Russian base in Armenia contract (which does nor run out for a while and is fine the way it is) with their proposed increased Russian troops and their military hardware.
To me that would send a stronger message to Azeris and Turks than what Russians are suggesting, if that is what their intentions are.
Increasing Russian presence in Armenia makes us look weaker which has the opposite effect.
You read my mind and more than that. What you said is the realistic interpretation of our situation.

      Thanks!

These are monetary recognitions of Aleksandr Iskandaryans efforts in assisting/promoting "famous" Protocol deal, publishing the book that denies AG and the rest. What's the total amount; interesting to know, it is not posted in the web site.

If you believe you, then Iskandaryan not a Russian spy, but Turkish.
He never wrote a book about the denial of genocide. This is a lie. In one of his article, he wrote: \u0026quot;so-called genocide\u0026quot; in a particular context.

I said that he endorsed/published the book, please read carefully. This is fact, it isn't lie, this fact months ago had been widely commented by almost all Armenian TV channels, no need to conceal it. In addition please read the court hearings description on the charges against him. Regarding the Turkish/Russian issue, in my opinion: he is both.

Please read carefully the charges against him in the website below:

In his book he published an article of the Turkish expert. We Armenians need to know the opinion of our enemies. There is nothing to judge Iskandaryan

I saw a picture in militaryphotos forum (can't recall which thread it was) stating that NKR have aquired a S300 system, can anyone confirm this? I took the coordinates in the picture they posted and looked it up in google maps

also this overall picture of NKR and Armenia airspace

Ok sorry for this, but i found more information on this..
"The image above depicts an S-300PT (SA-10A GRUMBLE) SAM site under construction in the Nagorno-Karabakh enclave between Azerbaijan and Armenia. This site was once likely meant to house one of the S-300PT SAM batteries delivered to Armenia from Russia, batteries which have since been seen to be deployed near the Armenian capital of Yerevan. This would have provided a significant increase in the air defense capability of the enclave, which is currently defended by S-125 (SA-3 GOA) and 2K11 Krug (SA-4 GANEF) systems. While no S-300PT has been deployed to the above site as of late 2007, the increased rhetoric between the Azeri government regarding the status of the enclave in 2008 may result in an eventual deployment. This may also be the reason that a 36D6 (TIN SHIELD) EW radar has been identified at this site since at least July of 2007, seen here near the buildings at the southwestern edge of the SAM site. A 36D6 radar position provided air surveillance coverage over the entire region and also can be integrated with a deployed S-300PT battery to provide target acquisition functions. While the presence of the radar does not appear to indicate an imminent SAM deployment, the presence of the site and the radar position does provide Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh enclave with air defense options should Azeri rhetoric progress towards armed conflict." qoute from militaryphotos

For those badmouthing Russia, consider the facts that Russia gives us weapons almost for free while charging azeris the premium prices. Much of the weapons it gives Armenia are not even recorded because it goes to kharabagh where reporting the weapons is not needed. Armenia has existed in the post genocide era only thanks to Russia. No other power had a interest and the power to save us from being wiped off the face of the earth as a nation. Russia is not obligated in any way to help Armenia, we are not its child thus they have every right to look after their own interests first and while their interests ususaly coinside with ours in important matters it may not always be the case and this is perfectly normal. Armenia is far more dependent on Russia then Russia is on Armenia thus there is no reason to expect a fair and balanced relationship here. I almost start to laugh when people start saying Russia is betraying us as if it is russias duty to protect us or something. We are not russias childeren and it owes us nothing but it is the only reason why a Armenia exists today and the day idiots who want to leave its orbit succeed will be the day Armenia is no more.

                      Here is more news.
AGREEMENT WITH RUSSIA STRENGTHENS ARMENIA'S SECURITY IN CASE OF EXTERNAL AGGRESSION, MP SAYS

The issue on modernization of the armed forces and reorganization of
their control is a domestic problem of our military-political ally,
Chairman of Inter-Parliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the
parliaments Aram Safaryantold NEWS.am, commenting on creation of a
new united Russian south strategic command.

Firstly, the Armenian-Russian military, military- political and
military-technical cooperation is a key factor for stability in the
South Caucasus and for the balance of forces maintained in the region
during post-Soviet period, he said. Secondly, Russian government has
offered President Medvedev to sign a supplement to the agreement on
status of 102nd base in Armenia. According to him, it will strengthen
Armenia's security in case of external aggression and fully conforms
to Armenia's national security concept and military doctrine.

As NEWS.am reported earlier, Russia is setting up a new system of
united strategic command "South", including 102nd Russian base in
Gyumri, bases in Abkhazia, South Ossetia, North Caucasus Military
District, the Black Sea Fleet and Caspian Fleet.
