Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!


2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

      ^^^^^ the video, our SF move and engage targets faster than any other CSTO members including Russia......on fair terms.

      The training to checkmate Azerbaijan is as intense as it can be.

      Also why would we want Aliyev out of power? he is our best Ally with his decisions making process.

        Նշվում է նաև, որ Գարաևն իր հայրենի գյուղի դպրոցի տնօրենի որդին էր։

        Կատարված միջադեպի մանրամասները պարզելու համար հետաքննությունը շարունակվում է։

        Հատկանշական է, որ ադրբեջանական մյուս լրատվակայքերը, այդ թվում «ԱՊԱ» լրատվական գործակալությունը, անդրադարձել է միջադեպին՝ առանց նշելու, որ զոհվածն ու վիրավորը զինծառայողներ էին։

          Russia is reinforcing Armenia's security to enable its strategic
          ally to resist the regional threats and hazards, a Russian military
          expert said, commenting on the country's current efforts to re-equip
          its base in Armenia's second largest city, Gyumri.

          "The armament of the military base will give us confidence that
          there will be no security threat, and that any act of aggression
          will be reacted adequately, no matter the inciter," Igor Korotchenko
          told Tert.am.

          Citing Russia's current strained relations with Turkey, he said he
          finds that country to be a real threat to Armenia's security.

          The expert said he is confident that the military base's reinforcement
          is mutually beneficial for both Armenia and Russia.

          But he ruled out any provocations by Turkey, describing the move as
          just an "insurance" measure.

          Asked about possible plans to use the military base's resources in
          Russia's current military operations in Syria, Korotchenko ruled out
          such a development, saying that Russia has enough military force in
          the country to resolve possible challenges.

            Opinion: Georgia to lose strategic partner like Azerbaijan in case of contract with Gazprom

            Georgia. Nizami Mammadzadeh – APA. “Big games are going on in the region. I’m not concerned by the possibility that Gazprom will sell us gas at 200 or 180 dollars. What does concern me is Russia’s intention to wage a “cold war” on Azerbaijan by breaking Armenia’s isolation through Georgia. Entire Russia is working against Azerbaijan – a country backed by Turkey, which in turn is backed by NATO. What about us? Who is there to back us? None!” Georgian politician Soso Tsinsadze said in an interview to the “Aliya” newspaper, APA’s Georgia bureau reported.

            “Azerbaijan would not forgive us that. Gas is a principal issue for Azerbaijan, whose national currency continues to lose value. And Russia is making use of this against Azerbaijan,” he noted.

            According to the politician, the fact that Azerbaijan displayed support for Turkey has sent Russia into a rage. And now Russia does not want to forgive it. “Putin is taking revenge and we too have been involved in this effort,” he added.

            Tsinsadze also mentioned that Georgia will find itself in a big trouble in case a contract is signed with Gazprom.

            “In the case of such a contract, Georgia will lose its role as a transit country and a strategic partner like Azerbaijan. By that means, our chances of diplomatic maneuvers will have been limited.

                Georgia sees the balance in the region going towards the Armenia-Russia-Iran axis with the Russian involvement in Syria, the Su-24 incident with Turkey, and Iran's sactions being lifted. They don't feel comfortable with Azerbaijan being their sole energy supplier. It's not about Azeri supply being insufficient. It was sufficient for many years.

                  The Azeri article above makes no sense. The Georgians benefit whether it is a N/S pipeline via Iran through Armenia, Georgia and into Russia while also hosting the Azeri pipelines. It really should make no difference; either way they get transit fees, gas and oil, etc. They can probably do both simultaneously and everybody wins. What are the Azeris going to do, stop using the pipeline through Georgia into Turkey and only transit into Russia thus cutting the route through Turkey to punish Georgia serve Russia's interest?
