These are Kurds from Azerbaijan, not ethnic "Azeris". Newsflash, there are other ethnic groups in Azerbaijan. The middle one has a very obvious Kurdish accent even in those few words he utters (like the guy behind the camera that asks the question).

Perpetrators of Khojaly Massacre now support terrorism against Turkey trying to weaken it, Ganira Pashayeva says
Member of the Azerbaijan Parliament Ganira Pashayeva said that Armenia has been sending troops to Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorist organization to support its terrorist activities aiming at weakening Turkey.
"Those responsible for the Khojaly Massacre are now supporting terrorism against Turkey; therefore the coffins of PKK terrorists killed are usually draped with Armenian and PKK flags. The killers of the Khojaly Massacre, such as Seyran Ohanyan, don't hesitate to show their support for terrorism at the state level," said Pashayeva in her speech "Khojaly genocide in Anatolia and the Armenian Atrocities" held in Sakarya University of Turkey.
The Khojaly Massacre was an incident in which as many as 613 innocent Azerbaijanis, including women, children, and elderly people were killed, according to Azerbaijani sources.
Pashayeva also mentioned the significance of the existence of a powerful Turkey in the region.
"The more powerful this castle (Turkey) is; the more powerful we will be. Those who know this have been trying hard to weaken Turkey through terrorist activities," said Pashayeva.
“Arbitrariness of UN"
The Azerbaijani MP harshly criticized the United Nations (UN), saying that the organization is only looking out for its permanent members.
"The present situation shows that if a nation has power, it can bomb any country or occupy any region when it wants to. While the UN couldn't wait only a month before bombing Libya; they preferred to do nothing with the occupied territories of Azerbaijan despite the decision taken on paper," she added.

How could one be an “ethnic azeris” when every historic map of that region refers to the region as Armenia.
Speaking turkish? They are speaking turkish. A turkic phenotype? An Eskimo looks closer to the turkic people than an azeri. What is it to be an azeri? Mass conversion to a turkic culture that is not native to a region?
The region needs some major de-turkification.

Ethnic Azeris are Iranians who lived in the old Persia, a northern Provence name something like Azebaijan (Azerbaihaniha).....just means people from that area of Iran. Even though they have a very long history as Iranians but they remained 2nd class especially in battle. Only spears. No horses, no armor, no sword, no bows, no respect lol.
thousands of years past, slant eye Turks began settling and eventually Turkifying many of these Azeris while convincing them that they are Turks. Then centuries past and some guy named Stalin gave them land with parts of our land. Fake Azerbaijan was born over indigenous populations of the area besides Armenians.

Russia Dismisses Azerbaijani Protests Against Arms Deal with Armenia

MOSCOW (RFE/RL) — Russia dismissed on Thursday Azerbaijani protests against its decision to sell $200 million worth of more Russian-manufactured weapons to Armenia.

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday that it has sent a protest note to Moscow in connection with the arms deal that will be financed with a $200 million Russian loan allocated to Yerevan last year.

“We have already made it clear to the Azerbaijani side through diplomatic channels that Russia is bound by an alliance with Armenia and is developing with it military-technical cooperation among other things,” said Maria Zakharova, the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman.

“This is a well-known fact, and we are managing that cooperation without hiding it, in a transparent and open manner. We hope that Azerbaijan will show understanding for this fact,” Zakharova told a news briefing in Moscow.

“We carry out any supplies of weapons to Armenia as well as friendly Azerbaijan with a meticulous consideration of the need to maintain the balance of forces in the region,” she added, according to the TASS news agency.

Zakharova appeared to allude to the fact that Russia has sold more than $4 billion worth of mostly offensive weapons to Azerbaijan in the last several years. Those arms deliveries prompted criticism from Armenia’s government, political parties and media. Some of them have accused Moscow of thereby undercutting Armenia, Russia’s main regional ally, in the dispute with Azerbaijan over Nagorno-Karabakh.

The latest Russian-Armenian arms deal has been construed by some analysts as a Russian attempt to placate the Armenians.

The Russian government disclosed late last week a long list of items which the Armenian military will be able to acquire with the Russian loan by the end of 2017. They include devastating multiple-launch rocket systems, flamethrower systems, anti-tank rockets and communication equipment.
