It's really annoying to see major news websites quoting the azerbaboon's defense ministry as if it's the truth, claiming the Armenians violate the cease fire while it's the azeri's who threaten with war the whole time.

Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan signed a decree on awarding seven individuals
On 30 August in connection with the 19th anniversary of the Artsakh Republic proclamation President Bako Sahakyan signed a decree on awarding.

For personal bravery and courage shown in the defense of the Motherland seven individuals, among them six posthumous, were awarded with the medal “For Courage”, Central Information department of the Artsakh Republic President reported.

For successful performance of combat missions, raising combat readiness of the forces as well as courage shown defending state borders 392 individuals, among them 16 posthumous, were awarded with the “For Service in Battle” medal.

For services shown to the Artsakh Republic one person was awarded with the Mesrop Mashtots Order, three individuals, one of them posthumous, were awarded the “Gratitude” medal.

Its so blatantly obvious that the Azeris use these cases "of weapon malfunctions" etc to cover their losses on the frontline during these useless maneuvers; more to come in the next few days, its how they will explain their deaths to their families. The Armenian army is far from perfect but through years of scrutiny, they have never hid the losses on the battlefield.

they keep claiming to get modern high tech weapons and yet more and more supposedly die by there weapons malfunctioning
they just dont want to admit the Armenians always tell the truth about the number of deaths so they somehow always lose soldiers the next day of the incidents due to some problem in the military.

The Armenian gov't needs to step it up. They should have filed with AP, Reuters, AFP, BBC, CNN, right away. Instead, they allow the Azeris to control the message and obfuscate.

One more soldier of the Azerbaijan National army committed suicide

The incident took place yesterday. On August 10, Sadigov Tajeddin Nureddin, 18, drafted from Absheron district Military Commissariat run away from military unit in Ganja city. When parents wanted to return him to the service, he drank acetic acid and wanted to commit suicide. Sadigov was taken to Clinical Medical Center on August 23 by his parents. The soldier died last night.

Press service of the Defense Ministry confirmed the fact to APA. Currently, the causes of the suicide are underway.

Nagorno-Karabakh, De Facto: 19 Years of Independence
The self-declared Nagorno Karabakh Republic celebrates its 19th anniversary today, September 2, with events dedicated to this day in 1991, and amid rising interests in efforts to see NKR internationally recognized.


Nearly two decades since the Regional Council of the Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Region [of the former Azerbaijani SSR] and the District Council of the Shahumyan region declared independence, a bill “On the recognition of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic” is expected to be discussed at the National Assembly of Armenia early next month.

It is difficult to predict what the discussions expected to commence October 5 will lead to. Armenian lawmakers may again choose to shelve the draft law, but judging from the statements of a number of influential MPs, such a discussion is possible. Galust Sahakyan, who heads the ruling Republican Party’s parliamentary faction, said that Armenia should initiate the process of NKR’s international recognition. The Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Dashnaktsutyun) also speaks about it now. Senior Dashnaktsutyun member Armen Rustamyan stated recently that the party will direct lobbying efforts at [promoting] the recognition of Karabakh’s independence.

In his congratulatory message on the occasion of NKR’s Independence Day, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said: “There can be only one peaceful solution to the Karabakh problem, and that is an international recognition of this state’s independence.”

Talking to ArmeniaNow, Chairman of the NKR Public Council on Foreign Policy and Security Masis Mayilyan hailed the greater appreciation of the need for Karabakh’s international recognition and efforts to provide a new quality to the relations between Armenia and NKR.

In April this year, the Council urged the traditional Armenian political parties and lobbying organizations of the Diaspora to initiate the process of NKR’s international recognition.

“Recognition, as the recent experience in Kosovo, Abkhazia and South Ossetia shows, is a real deterrent and a mechanism to ensure security in conflict zones,” said Mayilyan. “In order to avoid an Azerbaijani military revanche, the world centers that declare they are interested in stability in the South Caucasus should recognize the independence of NKR thereby blocking a military way out of the situation.”

Early in the day, NKR leadership and the official delegation led by Armenia’s Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan visited memorials in Stepanakert and Shushi, paying tribute to the memory of those who died in the national-liberation struggle.

A celebration concert in Stepanakert’s central stadium in the evening will wrap up the scheduled independence day events.
