There are some sources saying that Russia stopped supplying Armenia with weapons four weeks before the Azeri aggression.

Armenia does not only charge, but pays for the logistics of the Russian base.
For ex: Lately the armenian budget paid from taxpayers money, for the transport fees of russian base to train company, owned by Russia...

A base like the one they have, in international practice will cost hundred of millions.
But let's take the lowest symbolic value, 100 million/year.
That makes 2.3 billion for the last 23 years.

Now guess what, did we received for 2.3 billion arms?

While I agree that we should be compensated, we do get protection from turkey. Also we have received arms free of charge. Still Russia needs to understand that it is creating discontent within the Armenian society. Add Belarus' hostile diplomatic language and staying in CSTO seems like more of a joke. Armenia should publicly voice it's doubt about the legitimacy and practicality of an organisation whos members openly go against us.

According to Wikipedia the BTC pipeline is buried at least one meter. Would a grad suffice or would you need a smerch (300mm) to pierce through it?

100 million a year is a stretch... a big stretch

A bm-21 rocket with a delayed fuse high explosive round could damage it. A smerch warhead would definitely break the pipe.

Turkey is using Azeri to wage war on us. Which amounts to the same thing. Just because yerevan is not being bombed doesnt mean it's OK talish or stepanakert is being bombed. Some way along the way Russia decided it's OK that Armenians get killed. As long as they get to keep their Base and some influence on Azerbaijan.

Agreed. We are pawn on their chess board. But our friendship over 100s of year can not be overlooked. Nor the consequences of us without Russia as an ally.
