The mood is not good in artsakh. According to my sources there is no shops open except in stepanakert. Also no money floating around. No men in stepanakert can be seen. All went to the front.

Vartan Marashlyan, the director of Repat Armenia had a wonderful idea: encourage people to spend weekend in karabakh. He's there now. I think it would be a really nice endeavor to encourage for national unity and support, to encourage people to travel to karabakh and other border regions, specially Tavush, and spend money there.

Really important campaign to contribute to: funds for families of wounded/killed soldiers. I hope everyone contributes in whatever capacity they can

The azeri capturing of the Lele Tepe height is their main (only?) success.

The Armenian side has said on numerous occasions that it is strategically insignificant.
Certainly considering the expected casualties in recapturing it.

Having said that, it might have been considered, if it was not for the Sultans begging Putin to pressure the Armenian side for cease fire.

Looking at this pictures it might not be all that insignificant and I am not speaking as an expert.

Is that surprising?

There is not much money "floating around" in London either, and there has not been a war for the past 80 years.

Շարքային տանկիստ Տիգրան Աբգարյանի դին Արցախից Գյումրի էր տեղափոխվել նախորդ օրը: Սուրբ Նշան եկեղեցու մոտ հավաքվածներից տղայի ընտանիքին առավել լավ ճանաչողները պնդում էին, որ հարազատները Տիգրանի մարմինն այդպես էլ չեն տեսել՝ մոխրացած է եղել: «Սիրուն Տիկոն, մորն էր նման, մոր նման սիրուն էր ու էդ տղեն զոհվավ, գնաց: Ախպերը՝ Ժորան շատ կըհպարտնար, կըսեր՝ ախպերս, տանկիստ ախպերս, գիտե՞ք ինչ ախպեր ունիմ»,-պատմում է Ժորայի հետ շուկայի «Լաչինի միջանցք» կոչվող հատվածի խանութներից մեկում աշխատող Մարինեն՝ հավելելով, որ Տիգրանը ծառայում էր Ջաբրայիլում:

Մարինեն հիշում է, որ ապրիլի 2-ի առավոտյան խոսել են Ժորայի հետ, շատ անհանգիստ է եղել, պատմել է, որ ապրիլի 1-ի գիշերը թեեւ խոսել է Տիգրանի հետ, սակայն մինչեւ լուսաբաց տագնապը չի լքել: «Կըսեր, Մար, շատ անհանգիստ եմ, սիրտս վատ բան կգուշակե»: Տիգրան Աբգարյանը բանակ էր զորակոչվել 2014 թ.-ին, ծառայության ընթացքում աչքի ընկել Արցախում անցկացված տանկային բիաթլոնի ժամանակ՝ գրավելով երկրորդ տեղը: Թշնամու դեմ մղած մարտում էլ Տիգրանը ցուցաբերել է սովորած բոլոր հմտություններն ու բնությունից տրված խիզախությունը: Պատմում են, որ մինչեւ զոհվելը թշնամու մի քանի տանկ է ոչնչացրել:

Տիգրան Աբգարյանին, ինչպես նաեւ շարքային Գեւորգ Վարդանյանին եւ ավագ լեյտենանտ Հրաչ Գալստյանին կհուղարկավորեն վաղը՝ ապրիլի 10-ին:
