I hope everyone who follows this thread, including the Armenians who follow the thread but don't post anything, realized what just happened here:

The author of the article I posted presented a premise (Armenians need to take advantage of Russia because Armenia and Russia have overlapping interests against common enemies, Armenia cannot survive at this point in time without Russian protection from Turkey and Azerbaijan), and the author backed that premise with factual data (genocidal Turkey and Azerbaijan would not hesitate to destroy relatively tiny and poor Armenia if Russian protection was removed, Armenians are well-positioned to push Moscow to remove the Turkic-Islamic-western threat from the Caucasus once and for all by strengthening Armenia and Artsakh). This is a valid, logical argument supported by the facts. The people behind the "vrej1915" account have their own pro-western, anti-Russian agenda they want to push (basically an Armenian saakashvili with a CIA-backed regime change). But unfortunately for the people behind the "vrej1915" account, their pro-west and pro-NATO(Turkey) and anti-Russian agenda doesn't have any actual rational basis for support, so they resorted to ad hominem attacks (name calling). Anyone paying attention to Armenian issues will easily recognize this tactic, because it is the default tactic used by those who peddle lies. The most pressing example of ad hominems in Armenian issues is when Armenians demand genocide recognition and reparations, the Turks immediately resort to name-calling, lies, and threats because Turks do not have any facts to support their claims. The same thing happens when Armenians argue for Artsakh's right to self-determination: Armenians present evidence (Artsakh was historically Armenian from ancient times; NKR legally and democratically declared independence from the Soviet Union in 1991; Armenians cannot submit to rule by entity that openly calls for their genocide and declares axe murderers as national heroes; and that self-determination is the very essence of democracy), and Azeris respond with name-calling, lies, and threats.

To cut things short, let me state on behalf of the author that ad hominems and other insults from idiots (and from traitors) are like badges of honor. When Turks, Azeris, and their NATO allies and agents are targeting you for insults and attacks, then you can be sure you are doing something to damage their agenda against Armenia!

Removing Russia from Armenia is the most idiotic thing you can do. It will be Armenias suicide. Thank God our leaders have not resorted to do something so stupid. A lot if people on this page won't understand if it wasn't for the Soviets, Armenia would cease to exist. Whatever building you see in Yerevan is built in Soviet times. Armenia has nothing to show for except history. Russia needs to stay but needs to understand that we are upset by its stance. Russia is our big brother , and CSTO is a joke. Maybe we need to drop some threats to leave the Belarus Kazakh friendship.

Ապրիլի 2-ին, երբ մեր զինվորների փամփուշտները վերջացել են, տղերքը սկսել են բահով կռվել: Հպարտությամբ են ասում: Ու որքան հպարտությամբ են այդ մասին խոսում, այնքան ավելի խեղճ ենք երևում: Առաջնագիծ մեկնած ազատամարտիկը խնդրում է` կոնֆետ ու թխվածք ուղարկելու փոխարեն գիշերային տեսանելիության սարքեր ուղարկել: Հենց այդպես էլ մոտենում ենք հարցին` խնդրանք, իսկ փաստը, թե դեռ այն օրի չենք, որ «կանֆետն ու պեչենին» «սրտի մխիթարանք» լինեն, ոչ ոք չի արձանագրում, ձեռնտու չէ` թշնամուն հո չե՞նք ուրախացնելու:

Այն, որ օտարերկրացիներն այս օրերին կոչերով էին հանդես գալիս, նորմալ էր, սպասելի, թեկուզ` լղոզված ու ոչինչ չասող խաղաղության կոչեր, բայց, երբ սահմանին կանգնած տղաների կողքին լինելու փոխարեն կոչերով են հանդես գալիս մեր բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաները, ուզում ենք հասկանալ` տեսնես` ո՞ւմ են ուղղված այդ կոչերը, նրա՞նց, ովքեր մեզ ուղղված կոչերով են հանդես գալիս:

Ո՞ւր են ընտրությունից ընտրություն ժողովրդի կողքին կանգնող ու ամեն ինչ ժողովրդի համար անող փողկապավորները: Կներեք, ճիշտ է, մեկ-երկուսին հեռուստացույցով ցույց տվեցին. բարեմաղթանքներ էին հղում զինվորներին` ճոխ-ճոխ, հուսադրող, խրոխտ: Պարոնայ'ք փողկապավորներ, բարեմաղթանքները թողեք երեխաներին կամ էլ մայրերին, որոնք սպասում են իրենց զինվորի վերադարձին, նրանց բարեմաղթանքներն ավելի շուտ են տեղ հասնում: Ու մինչ փողկապավորները համապատասխան կոստյում են ընտրում, որով ավելի ազդեցիկ կհնչեն իրենց բարեմաղթանք-խորհուրդները, շատերն ուղղակի մեկնում են ճակատ` մեկնում են անգամ առանց իրենց ծնողներին տեղեկացնելու. ծնողները 1-2 օր կլացեն, հետո կհասկանան իրենց: Տղերքը մեկնում են, որովհետև գիտեն` դուք միայն բարեմաղթանք ու կոչեր եք հղելու, տղերքը մեկնում են, որովհետև գիտեն` պատերազմում խորհուրդներով չեն հաղթում, «հաղթանակ» բառը բարեմաղթանք դարձնելու համար նախ պետք է այն քեզնով անես: Տղերքը մեկնում են, որովհետև գիտեն` զոհված զինվորի մորը կոչերով չես հուսադրի, զոհված զինվորի մայրը պետք է իր տղայի գործը շարունակողին տեսնի:

«Աստղերը /կներեք, բայց այս դեպքում սահմանին կանգնած տղաներին նկատի չունեն/ մեկնում են Արցախ». աստղերը մեկնում են Արցախ` չիմանալով, որ Արցախը միայն Ստեփանակերտը չէ, ավելին` երևի դեռ չեն զգում, որ Ստեփանակերտի հրապարակում արված իրենց սելֆիներով անգամ 1-2 «լայք անող» չի ավելանում. լայքել սիրողներն այս օրերին նախընտրում էին Ռուսաստանին հայհոյող գրառումները լայքել: Աստղերին /չգիտեմ էլ` ովքեր են նրանք/ երևի ոչ ոք չէր հուշել, որ այդքան գումար ծախսելու ու Ստեփանակերտում սելֆի անելու փոխարեն միգուցե արժեր, որ ուղղակի գնային ու Կենտրոնական զինվորական հոսպիտալի դիմաց հավաքված զինվորների մայրերի կողքին նստեին, ուղղակի նստեին`առանց սելֆի անելու:

92 զոհ, բայց երկրիս պաշտոնյաներից և ոչ մեկն էլ օրակարգ չփոխեց, անգամ` նրանք, ովքեր սիրում են երբեմն-երբեմն զինվորական հագուստով նկարվել, այս անգամ կոչերով բավարարվեցին: Մաշտոցի պուրակում, որտեղ այս օրերին զինվորների համար սնունդ, քաղցրավենիք էին հավաքում, ու որին անգամ ծննդկան կանայք էին մասնակցում` իրենց բերված մրգերն ու հյութերը պատուհանից տոպրակներով ներքև իջեցնելով, այդպես էլ չտեսանք օլիգարխներից որևէ մեկին. խառն էին` կոչերի տեքստերն էին գրել տալիս: Կոչերով հանդես եկողներն այդպես էլ չիմացան` եթե մեզ մոտ խնդիրները կոչերով լուծվեին, իրենք վաղուց իրենց հասանելիք տեղում կլինեին, այլ ոչ թե «վերևներում»:

Երեկ Կենտրոնական զինվորական հոսպիտալում գտնվող վիրավոր տղաներից մեկն ասաց. «Հենց տեսանք` հակառակորդը վրա է տալիս, ձեռքներս ինքնաբերաբար զենքին տարանք: Այդ պահին չես մտածում` հանուն ինչի ես կռվում, ուղղակի գիտես, որ պիտի պայքարես: Այդ պահին ոչնչի մասին չես մտածում, միակ միտքն անգամ մի քայլ հետ չգնալն է: Հետո, երբ համեմատաբար խաղաղվեց, նոր միայն հասկացա` բոլորի համար էի կռվում, ուշք ու միտքս մենակ տնեցիք չէին…»:
